I saw a desk on the website I wanted and some surplus carpet tiles I wanted to look at in person, so we went in. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

They have a mix of used and brand new items. For the most part, the used items are in very good shape, ranging between "essentially brand new" to "light wear". All item photos and descriptions on the website were honest and accurate.

This place is a dream for DiYers, and anyone looking for creative, functional, statement pieces for your home or home office. They have a wide range of pretty unique and interesting things that weren't on the website. I picked up a really cool locker that I just couldn't resist.

The crew is very knowledgeable about the brands and products they carry, and the prices are very fair. I got a brand new looking Herman Miller sit-stand desk, 400+ sq ft of carpet, a large metal locker, and a brand new large glass markerboard for less than what that sit-stand desk alone costs new.

Loading large items was easy. There is a loading dock in the back with a large concrete ramp, that's easily accessible for any vehicle. Eight months of working from home perched on a subpar chair has made me long for my employer-owned Herman Miller Aeron chair that is locked away in deserted cube city. I went into TJ Office Furniture in the hopes of finding a nice, used desk chair that would get me through the pandemic. But to my surprise, as I shared with Jim my real desire to have a Herman Miller chair, he brought out a refurbished Aeron that hadn't made it to the floor yet. I was over the moon as I sat in the chair and realized it was exactly what I wanted! I've researched Herman Miller chairs, so I know what they cost new. TJ Office Furniture gave me a fantastic deal on the refurbished chair (which is actually in better shape than my chair at work) and I drove home with a Herman Miller chair I never thought I could afford. Jim and the rest of the staff were friendly, helpful, and lovely to work with. The showroom was clean and prices were clearly marked. Strange experience today. I went to TJ Furniture looking for a bookcase and some chairs. I found a couple of items I wanted to buy, and asked about delivery options. The first salesman said they focus on the furniture, not delivery, and that the one service they do recommend is really busy and probably would not accept the job. A second salesman then said that he would text another delivery service, in case they would be willing to include my purchases on a scheduled delivery run. He said he would let me know if he heard back. He also suggested renting a truck from Menards to do it myself. Sooo..it quickly became clear they weren't interested in facilitating a sale. No one asked for my name, etc. As I was walking out, the first salesman asked for my thoughts. I said I would have to figure out delivery options.
