Update 12/30/17: apparently the people at the store can’t figure out I paid $340 online yesterday because they are still calling and leaving messages like I need to come in and pay. Why? Getting pretty fed up with it.
Update 12/16/17: Yesterday the female manager had the nerve to tell me “you are making our company suffer” when I called to let them know I would have a payment in 5 days. Really?!! Giving your company over $3000 in the past year for $2800 of furniture is making your company suffer if a payment is late? The people at this store need a reality check and some serious training in empathy. You continue to turn a once loyal customer into someone who will never do business with you again! You know what makes your company suffer? Losing $1000s in future business because you want to talk down to an excellent customer about a late payment.
Update 12/13/17: Let’s make this really clear. I’ve paid this store over $3000 in the past year. I’ve paid beyond retail value for all my items at this point. (Everything I have would have been about $2800 bought outright at a regular store) I’ve had some job difficulty the past 2 months, but I’ve still continued to pay over $200/month during that time. I understand at a place like this you’re going to end up paying nearly double the retail value on everything, but these people could be a bit more understanding when they’ve already reaped beyond the retail value if someone hits a difficult patch and is still paying what they can. Aaron’s slogan is “Own it!” ... the condescending tone I get as if the manager is scolding a naughty child when I brought in $220 instead of $260 last month was ridiculous. Maybe just maybe talk to me like I’m someone you respect for giving you more than $3000 over the past year; talk to me like I’m someone who has paid more than retail already and is continuing to still pay you. When you talk down to a customer that has paid over $3000 about $40 you don’t sound like you want me to “own it!”, seriously, a 15 minutes lecture like I’m some rotten child trying to get away with something, saying stuff like “we’re a rental company, we’re not a finance company” then why is your company slogan “own it!” And why do the contracts have interest/finance charges? ... well, I figured out I can make payments online so I’ll finish paying for what I have through the computer and never step foot in this store again.
Original: Changed the due date on my items without telling me, and then want to add late charges for it like I should be a mind reader. I won't be shopping here again after my current items that are almost paid off are done. Completely...
Read moreWorst experience ever! If I could give negative stars I definitely would. I went into the store told the sales person I wanted to furnish my home. Me and my wife picked out everything we wanted signed the contract the sales person showed us that we had the green light on his computer so we were very excited to get our new furnishings but today the store manager called and said that they couldn't do all the furniture that we had picked out and wanted to know what specifically we wanted. I told him if they didn't have everything that we already signed the contract on I didn't want anything from them. His reaction was "oh OK" this place is highly unprofessional and extremely ignorant. I forgot to mention while we were signing contracts the sales person kept saying over and over again if you don't pay we'll show up at your house with the cops and we will get our merchandise. If I didn't plan to pay for it I wouldn't have been there. This place is disgusting I would never recommend this place to anyone! Please choose RAC (Rent-A-Center, Chad's Rentals or Colortyme if you have to rent to own any furnishings regardless of the bogus deals Arron's offers. Arron's is a scam they sell/rent stuff out from under you after the contracts are signed and are completely arrogant. I will be contacting my attorney today since I have all the signed contracts and Arron's are the ones that reneged on their end. I work 12 to 14 hour days for a living and I do not have time to play games with a furniture store and I sure don't want to hear bogus excuses from a looser store manager. This store would be better off ran by a chimpanzee. Apparently he must have personally trained his entire sales staff because they are also arrogant and have no idea how to do their job without total ignorance. Once again please be warned THIS PLACE IS A SCAM THEY WILL RENEG ON THE CONTRACTS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN SIGHNED DO NOT FALL FOR THERE PITCH OR LOW PRICE GUARANTEE!!!! Pocatello Arron's is the most unprofessional inconsiderate place I've ever had the displeasure of...
Read moreVery disappointed with our experience. Had a delivery scheduled for yesterday and the truck was broken down which is fine I understand that and it’s not anyones fault. However, they told us all of our old stuff had to be out for the new and ITS A FRIDGE. They said they would deliver today and that did not happen and they did not keep in contact with us about it. We had to call several times to figure out we now have to wait an additional FOUR days. We were also told the delivery guys are pretty sure it’s not going to fit even though my husband measured 4 times to make sure so now we have to help when they deliver it. They haven’t been nice or understanding with our frustrations and gave us a $25 credit on our account… sorry but this is bad customer service. Also when my husband asked if there was absolutely anything they could do he was met with “Well do you have any...
