One of A Kind Shoppe w/ The Jewelers ' Workbench — Local services in Pocono Township

I had been a customer for years...Bought my wedding gifts there as well as many unique gifts for others. I considered Patrice a friend .. as time went by I had difficulty when trying to pick items I brought in further to size or repair. She couldn't find them or told me I already picked it up. But after taking in a one of a kind antique ring for her to sell on a consignment basis ...I realized she was completely shady. The ring wasn't there. She said it was in. NYC...I asked her why and she had no answer. I told her it's been years please just get it back to me I'll keep it ...it was a platinum ring with just over 1 carat center diamond and 36 full cut tiny diamonds around it in an old world European style. I chased her around and as time went in she became downright rude .. I even stopped at her house to tell her I would go pick up ring in NYC myself. At that time she said she was going in the following week and I could pick it up....When I did go to pick it up she was sneaky and overly talkative. She took ring and took one I was wearing off my hand and placed "my ring" on my hand...it was devastating. It looked like something from CVS....I was so upset I left afraid I'd snap. I messaged her and took ring in for appraisal. It was a cheap knock off of the antique ring I brought her. The center stone was half the size the little diamonds were now chips and it was white gold not platinum. I will never do business and regret all the referrals I've given this business over the years . Her husband was stealing from the shop to support his drug habit and that's when I realized. Terrible service!! I am not the person to write negative reviews, however, In this case I was told that a sentimental piece of jewelry I owned could be repaired. Weeks went by and I never heard anything from the owner. I called to follow up and a man told me the owner was out of town. I go in the store a couple of weeks later to find my bracelet was no where to be found. I was not offered any kind of compensation.. barely an apology.. I left my contact information AGAIN.. never heard from them. Prices are way over priced and terrible...

This place is in my opinion was overpacked it just seems like a lot of items on top of each other and difficult to tell really what is what and very dark the rooms are very narrow some you can't even get all the way in, that said hopefully you can find a deal if that's what you're looking for. my experience wasn't good I wouldn't return, your experience may be different or even better. If you like antique shops that have that "clutter organization" with that musty old smell.. this could be...
