Pretty rough overall. Went to upgrade phones on a promotional deal we received, they didnāt have them in stock. Not a problem. Ordered 2 black iPhones on a Friday and was told they would be in on Monday. Never heard back. I reached out Wednesday afternoon and was told they were in. Saleswoman in the store said she called to let us know they were in and was hung up on (no incoming calls from the Verizon store on call log). Showed up that evening after work. One phone was silver, still not a problem. Paid to the taxes on both phones and to have them set up. Denied any insurances on the phones or changes to our plan. Saleswoman set up new phones but was not able to transfer any apps and 70% of contacts on one phone. Said it would have to be done manually as they were past closing. Agreed to send us home with new and old phones and then come back to finish conversion. Went back next day, completely wiped all contacts and apps on one original phone. No apologies but mentioned it was good that no pics were lost.
Left the store and neither phones would work. Used a friends phone to call the store. Manager said the woman that helped us was busy and would call back. 2 hours went by before I called them again. She answered and let us know we needed to restart the phones. Said she was swamped in the store and didnāt have time to call.
Phone bill went up $200 on next bill. Needed to call Verizon to fix. The employee in the store changed our plan as well charged us twice...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to upgrade the phone... Employees are helpful but have become typical sales people and trying to package into the contract services you are no aware of. Thomas took initiative to transfer data from old phone into new one but without mentioning $49 transfer data fee, something that anybody can do on their own via wi-fi or sim card for free. On top of that I discovered insurance plan was added to the account even though I declined $17/month insurance plan with him. Same thing happened to me 2 yrs ago at another Verizon store when upgrading and it took me numerous calls to remove it... When called back next day and asked to remove it another associate told me that i have to call customer service and handle it myself.. He cave in after I complained that it is their responsibility as I did not authorize adding insurance plan to my account. Let's see if it will be taken care of... I can't believe you can no longer get the phone without being taken advantage of... I wonder how many customers are paying for services they did not signed up for without even realizing it... Would not recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI placed an order for a new phone (upgrade) through the Verizon app for express pick up at this store. This was Monday night. Tuesday, I called the store to confirm it was ready since it was supposed to be 2 hour pick up. No one answered so I just stopped in after work in the evening. The guy there told me UPS hadnāt delivered it yet. I asked why would it be express pick up if they had to wait for UPS to deliver? For that I wouldāve just had it delivered to my house. He agreed it was weird and customer service shouldāve told me that. Ok, whatever. He told me the store would email me when the phone came in and to wait for the email. Friday morning I get an email from Verizon saying they canceled my order since I never picked it up at the store. Iām so angry and I canāt stand incompetent people and businesses. Now, Verizon is having issues sending me a new phone because of the other order being canceled. Such a hassle. If only the store did their job and contacted me when it was ready, thereād be...
