Several things that need to be addressed are issues with the pool hours and staffing. The pool should be open until 7 PM dueing aumner hours, like it used to be during the summer months. This change would provide working individuals the chance to enjoy the pool after a long day and give parents an option for their kids after school. There’s no reason to have two to three lifeguards on duty at the same time. For instance, one lifeguard could work from 9 AM to 5 PM, while another could cover the hours from 11 AM to 7 PM. (During summer hours) This overlap would ensure adequate coverage during peak times without wasting resources. And let’s talk about the lifeguards watering the grass or cleaning the outside entrance. Their focus should be on ensuring the safety of pool-goers, not tending to the landscaping. The pool should be open seven days a week, with hours adjusted according to Daylight Saving Time. This year we lost an entire month of summer hours after 4:30 PM because the schedule is completely out of sync with the time change. This place is a joke I've been trying to use the swimming pool since September almost daily within the hours the pool is said to be open. Yet everytime I go to use the swimming pool which is practically everyday I am told it is closed. The hours are supposed to be currently from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. yet the pool is never open. I have not once stepped foot inside that pool because it is always closed I just asked the supervisor at the other location for a refund on my annual residence pass since I am never allowed to use it and he refused to refund my money. I will be taking this to court for the matter of principle at this point. Since September 2022 I have been trying to use this pool, it is now May 2023 and still have not been allowed access not one single time at all. I'm beginning to believe and I hate to say this it is a racial matter to be honest. And since I was just rudely disregarded by the supervisor now too. We took the shuttle to the parade, the shuttle driver was beyond rude, blasted the music so loud, everyone was complaining especially with there being two babies on the shuttle. After the even it is 2pm and we waited for the shuttle where we was told to do so, the shuttle driver (same guy) drove right by us even while waving him down. The 2nd time he came around 30 mins later he again looked at us then ignored us! I came to this event with a 6 month old and my mother. We had to walk 40 mins back to our car, in the heat & unsafe matters as there was no sidewalks in some areas. This is ridiculous & will never attend another event.
