There is this lady and the deli section she sound like she's from the islands. Has the most beautiful silver hair. And her sandwiches every time I get a sandwich that she makes barely have to say anything that I want. I'm not a regular I come in like every now and again. However, I think she is a sandwich Guru. This is by far the best sandwich I've ever had every time and she makes it with I don't know this I guess it's true what they say a person's attitude affects your food. She has the best attitude and when she's preparing the sandwich it doesn't feel like it's in an angry manner like some of them over there and I just say it's okay. Like one guy who had no gloves on who picked up my chicken and put it in the tray that he dumped an empty out in front of me the crumbs that was left in there. But I would give the whole five stars for that one lady and the cashiers. I had a novelty cake done there(hamburger) where I was late picking it up but you would think that okay they see the customer hasn't come to pick this cake up as put it in the refrigerator my cake had been sitting out from the time that I said I was going to pick it up which is around 2:00 and I end up making it there around 8:00 because I end up having to go in to work and I did not get a chance to call. So for 6 hours my cake was sitting there so I'm going to drive home it was sliding back and forth it was beautiful I was able to piece it back together so that I can still look presentable. But, the frosting was not as stiff as it should be. I have the same incident a couple of years ago where I brought my nephew a cake and it's supposed to had strawberries and pureed banana inside. I sent them pictures of the cake where after we had cut a 4x4 piece out of it, and another two inches off the other side to see if there wasn't any banana in it it was all strawberry. I had call and spoke with the person in the bakery section several times and confirmed that it had banana in it. When I called to confirm that it completed, the lady who answered said yes we have a strawberry full sheet cake. I corrected us in no mind should have strawberry and banana. She said oh yes my mistake strawberry and banana. So, I get there pick up the cake and let me just add this is the first time my nephew did not have anyone else's name on the cake with him he had his own cake. Nobody was sharing the birthday cake with him. And the banana part was for him. Because he cannot eat the strawberry part. So when I tell the manager when I go back up there to get the refund or partial refund for the cake they were rude and following me around as if I was trying to do something and I said okay that's odd. So when I was met with a nasty attitude I said you know what I would just like a full refund. After that experience I did not ever get a cake from there again as much as I love Publix I did not want to get anything else from this one and the seafood or Bakery section. However my little sister loves the cake the novelty cake that I was getting and it was for her birthday and of course we always do a seafood boil when she comes to town. With the seafood department I got some salmon and I asked the guy to scale it for me he told me he can't do that and I just said okay. I was not going to stand there and argue with him. It was not my regular Seafood guy they had switched them out with this caucasian guy who was probably in his 50s or 60s. It doesn't matter I'm just trying to give a description so that the manager will know who it is. So I then ask if they had any king crabs. He looks me dead smacking my eyes and said those are too expensive. I couldn't believe you just said that. I didn't ask if you knew the price I asked if you had any. And he responded no at this point I just think he's lying. I had never experience that before because normally whenever she comes to town or whenever we about to have a seafood night we will spend and this is any Seafood lover over $200 or close to, to have a great...
Read moreI have chosen this store my pharmacy store and day to day grocery store for more than 16 years.This place is going bad in costumer service like I have go the deli department and the two ladies working in that area were very unprofessional.i have gone to order a fried chicken and she say to write my name and that my chilcken was going to be ready in 30 minutes i come back in 30 min and there is another lady i ask her how long she say 45min i go the other lady say 30 and it already pass she say i dont what she told you but im just telling the chiken is going to be 45 more minutes she sid that to me and other 2 costumers very rude responding saying that other lady dint tell her nothing and cant do nothing.Well i think she need to lower her attitude because its their responsibility to have a good communication system because I was supposed to wait for chicken almost 2 hours not is not good.Very dissapointed at Publix because there costumer service is worse...
Read moreThe visit was as always, a pleasant experience from management to stock-personel to cashiers. The ONLY reason it wasn't rated a 5*. is things aren't where i'm accustomed them to be. EVERYTHING is NOT where i'm used to finding them. I know why PUBLIX CORPORATE has done this...it isn't rocket science...If you have hunt for what you're looking for, you are more apt to "binge-shop" & over buy - It All Makes Sense! If I had to say of an improvement was needed. It would be, there needs to be more checkout lanes open, the lines at most times end up down the aisles of the food while many registers are unused - to cut down on cost - Duh!...it ALL comes down to $$$, checks & balances.
