I just recently purchased my 2020 Nissan pathfinder from Performance Nissan. I have to say my experience was Excellent! Mainly this is because of the financial manager that thankfully was in charge of my deal by the name of Kelvin Mendez. His customer service is beyond Phenomenal. He was very patient, and tremendously informative with everything from start to finish. He even took care of a minor maintenance that was not completed but he took it into his own hands to have me Taken care of by the service department. And he always made sure to follow up and reach out to me personally. Which I have never have had that type of experience with a car dealership before. Performance Nissan is lucky to have such an astounding Employee and person such as him. In addition, Courtney who I first dealt with and was my initial point of contact to get me situated was amazing as well a big thank you to her also. Definitely recommend this dealership without a doubt!
( Aug 2022)This is an update to a previous purchase I did back in 2020. This time around I traded in my car for the new Pathfinder 2022. I have to say that the second time around purchasing from Performance Nissan was even better than the first. Let me start off with with Courtney which is one of the sales managers there. She was also the first one that assisted me to get my first purchase back in 2020 and as always Courtney delivered the excellent customer service and attention I have ever received in a dealership. When I first called she told me there were no 2020 Pathfinders available and that she would check up with me as soon as they would arrive and sure enough she called me the moment they did. She put me in the care of their salesperson Gaby which was a true pleasure to deal with. She was extremely patient, helpful and attentive of my needs and also did what she could to make sure I was purchasing the right vehicle in addition to the options the car had and did not want me to regret something I had before and not this time around (she was right!) and also worked in getting me the best available price. After that was settled I dealt with another familiar face from the first time which was Kelvin from finance. Another outstanding and great person who treats you with respect and makes you feel like a long time friend. Just as in the first time I purchased before he did the same the second time around. He made sure I was comfortable in every aspect of the deal in addition to answering every possible question you may have without ever feeling flustered or in a rush. It is a true pleasure purchasing from a dealer with such people as Courtney, Gaby and Kelvin. September 2021 Outstanding follow-up experience. Brian suggested upgrading to a CPO 2020 Pro-4X. He was rightāit fit my needs perfectly. Gabby handled the sale like a pro, and Bobby Serpentini ensured the deal was smooth and fair. Confidence in this team is solid.
September 2022 Brought my daughter to buy her first carā#4 for our family here. Pricing, service, and care were excellent. She left happy and confident.
July 2025 Power steering failure was handled professionally by Shania Minor and Ruben. A rare, complex issue, but they worked with Nissan Consumer Affairs and got 90% of the repair covered under goodwill. Iāve always trusted Performance Nissanāand this time was no exception.
August 2025: My recent experience involved a power steering system failure on my vehicle. The initial repair included a power steering pump replacement and fluid flush. However, after receiving the vehicle, it became clear that additional issues remained, stemming from complex circumstances beyond the first repair.
Service Manager Shania Minor, Master Technician Howard, and Customer Service Representative Ruben have been exceptionally professional, responsive, and dedicated throughout this process. They worked closely with me and coordinated with Nissan Consumer Affairs to secure additional goodwill assistance, ultimately resulting in a 90% repair cost contribution from Nissan.
This particular issue has been unusual and required patience and thorough diagnosis. Had my car repaired due to an accident in June. When I picked it up, the car vibrated badly and had a grinding noise that came from the same side of the car that the repairs (body work) were"claimed" to be fixed. I brought it back the next day for them to look at and was told it was my engine mount. I told them I strongly disagreed that the engine mount was making a grinding noise but they insisted. After replacing the engine mount the grinding noises persisted and the grinding noise still could not be identified. 2 days ago, I was driving and nearly spun out of control on 95 with my 2 year daughter in the car, because the side that was supposed to be fix completely collapsed on my tire. I was able to have pep boys remove the falling undercarriage and I took it back to have Performance Nissan to stand behind their work and the auto body manager tried to tell me I ran over something and I cause the damage. Seriously, the undercarriage was melted from tire rubbing against it. This kind of damage could have only happened over time and not within a 10 minute ride driving less then 40mph to get off 95 or from running over something. There is nothing I could have run over that would have cause this kind of damage. I informed them that I had photos of the damage and that it was no way what he was trying to suggest was even remotely possible. I have since then file a complaint with Nissan's consumer affairs with my photos to prove that their work was faulty.
Not to mention they have made random service appointments for me, sent me email/text appointment notification and then had the "balls" to try to charge me for missed appointments I never made.
In my experience, they do not uphold the Nissan standards, at all. Stay as far away from Performance Nissan service and auto body repair. You will end up needing more work done to your car then what you originally came in to...
