Jackie’s Nail Studio — Local services in Pompton Lakes

I would love to rate Jackie’s on their service, but they don’t seem to want my business. I had an appointment for last Wednesday morning, but I arrived late. I had to reschedule due to another appointment and that was fine because it was my fault.

The next day I received a call from Jackie saying that they could not keep my new appointment and it needed to be rescheduled so I moved it to Sunday morning.

Sunday morning as I was parking outside the salon at 10:56 my phone rang. I ignored it and went into the salon, where I was informed that they were just trying to call me because they had overbooked and I needed to come back later.

I had plans in a little while and was fitting this pedi in because I needed it so badly, so I couldn’t go back.

I guess Jackie’s does good work because they’re always busy but they need to learn how to run their appointment book. Also, maybe don’t wait until four minutes before the appointment to call. I wasted time driving there and parking, just to be turned away.

Luckily, there are a lot of nail salons and I’ll find another one. I can’t deal with this constant...

Have been here 3 times due to my original nail salon being under construction due to a fire. First experience was pleasant. Second experience the woman called me 2x to move my mother and my appointment to a different time. Both times I told her I had an infant and made this appointment over a week and booked a babysitter. We arrive and my mom had to wait about 20 minutes before getting her pedicure. Our nails came out good, but not an ideal experience. Today, my third experience, I get a call while at work to move my appointment up, AGAIN! She asks if I can arrive at 3:30 rather than 3:45. Fine. I leave work 10 minutes early to make it here on time. I’m writing this review in the chair, it’s 4:00PM, I still have not been taken. The owner is not even here to discuss matters with. I have to communicate with the workers who are working on other people AND answering phones. Needless to say this will be the last time I come here because this is supposed to be a relaxing experience;...

I don’t normally write reviews however this one was definitely earned! If you’re like me a lot is taken into consideration when choosing a nail salon. This one checks off all my boxes. Jackie’s Nails is beautiful and very clean! Lots of beautiful colors to choose from. I got a gel manicure and was very very satisfied. My lady was amazing and as I looked around all the other ladies looked experienced as well. Which is a huge plus for me. In addition the pricing was slightly cheaper than my last nail salon which was an added bonus. Jackie was very nice and accommodating from making the appointment till leaving my appointment. Lastly they have a loyalty card that is actually worth it for customers! (other nail salons took forever to accumulate points).
