The restaurant is a little small and bathroom a.little constricted but when you eat the food none of that matters. Read reviews before going here and saw that most complaints are more than likely because people just wanted free food and some low reviews compared to words should have given more stars. The portion are pretty big for the price. The prickng is not expensive. The taste is like eating home-cooked food! I was amazed and pigged out eating way more than I could because the flavor was all that! I honestly felt like it was worth calling home about and I'm not even Mexican. I've cooked for 2 Mexican restaurants in my youth and have a lot of knowledge about Mexican food due to that and having a sister in law who is old school Mexican and of course many of my coworkers be always bringing me food and because of that I can assure the food at this specific place is highly recommend! If you are looking for a great authentic meal La Juquilita is the place to go to! Being Mexican myself it takes alot for me to actually like a Mexican restaurant because I hold it against my mom's cooking, my own or even food from Mexico itself. La Juquilita exceeded my expectations! One bite into my Bistec a la Mexicana and I knew I've found a new local restaurant to go to when I don't want to make dinner. The steak was cooked to perfection soft and super flavorful. The portions are great for your buck. We just received our order from this restaurant which was 2 hours late. I called to asked where they were and I was told their printer was down and since I ordered online I would not know this. We reordered the food and it was the poorest Mexican food I have ever eaten, taco bell taste's better. When I called to complain, they said they were sorry and would do a better job next time.....I really don't believe there will be a next time.
