I had such an amazing experience here at Cherished Bridals, I myself am an avid consignment shopper so you can imagine the excitement that came over when I heard that Cherished Bridals is a consignment shop for wedding gowns wait what?!? After all the shops I have been too I came in with no appointment and was hesitant because all the bridal shops I went to...appoinments were necessary. I felt at home as soon as I walked in, Barbara was such a sweet and lovely person to meet. She is the owner and was so helpful. She simply pointed me in the direction I needed to be in and let my sister and I look around and was so easy going about it nicely saying “ If you would like to try on any of the gowns I will be more than happy to set you up in a fitting room.” I found a few and began to try on…held mirrors up, put belts on added veils it was so refreshing to have someone be so genuine and not pushy in the least bit. Needless to say I wasn’t sold on any of the ones I had tried on so while in the fitting room, she says “ ya know I have this one we just got in and I have a feeling you may just love it.” As soon as I put it on I was SOLD I did not want to take it off and so they say if you want to leave the store with it on then that is the dress for you. The idea of wedding dress shopping was definitely my worst nightmare. I've been to some of the big name stores, designer boutiques, and one very well known one in NYC (hint...Say Yes to the Dress) for myself and/or friends and I just hated the sales-y, pay as much as you possibly can, pressure to buy a dress 10 months in advance thing.

This was the best experience at Cherished Bridals. They took us on a Sunday with an appointment and we had the whole shop to ourselves. These are brand new gowns that have come from sample sales, other boutiques, etc. The owner listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and just helped out. There was no sales pitch, no pressure or making me feel bad for waiting until 6 months before the wedding (seriously, you don't know how many bridal shops push you to buy 10-12 months out)

Left with gown in hand, paid $900 instead of over $2k that the dress normally is and I got a designer dress that I could have never afforded otherwise. Cherished Bridals far exceeded my expectations while dress shopping! As many others have said in reviews, I went in truly not expecting to buy anything, just looking to see what different styles looked like on my body, and low-and-behold I walked out with "The One"! ... and no one in my party picked it out, Barbara (the awesome owner of the store) did! You can't really deny the dress when you walk out of the changing room and everyone is crying; so when I went to check the price tag I was nervous but OMG what a great deal it was too! How could I say no?! My maid of honor, who is from Massachusetts even said she can't wait to come back and shop for her dress here! If you are looking to have a wide selection of gorgeous gown but not looking to pay top dollar, this store is for you!
