Jurassic Gemstones — Local services in Pontiac Township

My kids and I have been reading and studying rocks, minerals, and fossils this year in school. To say they were excited to explore this store was an understatement. The gentleman there was soooo patient with their enthusiasm and anxiousness to hear about allll the gems and fossils in sight. There is a mining experience for the kids of which, again, he was so patient with them while their hands moved quickly to participate. My kids spent just about all their spending money in one hour! Will share this store with others and will enjoy visiting again once my kids have saved up...

I had an awesome experience at this shop. The fossils and stones are amazing here. There is a geode cracking station and a mine sluice to uncover your own stones and fossils with!! The owner is amazing and very passionate about the things in his shop and will tell you the exact age and quite a bit about the stones and fossils he has here. I am coming back. Great place to learn something new or just see something cool. It's great for kids, but I'm in my 20s and my friends and I love this place every time we visit.
