I have struggled whether or not to give this review because I understand as a business own myself negative reviews can effect business. But knowledge is power…so knowing what I need to improve on helps me and my business grow. I went in without appointment so totally understand I would probably have to wait. I was greeted with a hi or something of the sort. Saw they had a check in tablet but it was off. I was asked if i had appointment and I said no so was told to take a seat. I waited and watched as all three ladies worked hard giving other people haircuts/colors. Some finished or had someone sitting with their hair dye in. The young girl disappeared for like 15-20 min another lady just talked to her customer for like 15-20 min or so. I watched an elderly gentleman who was waiting as well walk out(assuming he got tired of waiting). So at this point I was like two of them could have fit me or the other guy in with no problem. I hardly have any hair and he had alittle more than me. I was given no direction like hey it will probably be like 45 min wait or anything. But I continue to wait for about 45 minutes total and the lady that was doing all the talking(again i understand i am a business owner and am in customer service)turns to the lady that had just come in like 5 min ago and said come on back for your appointment…I decide I had enough. So I walked out. Had I had some communication and direction I probably wouldn’t have left a 1 star review. My sister was a hair dresser and has passed away but would be dying someone’s hair, cutting another and have someone under the dryer all at the same time. Communicating the whole time with most of the people in the salon. But no big deal…I had planned on blessing my stylist with a $50 tip on a $20 haircut to make that person smile but instead I left sad and frustrated. I pray the owner, might of been one of the ladies there, takes this to heart and next times does a better job communicating with her customers. I know two of us walked out and I have no plans...
Read moreI took my daughter in for her scheduled appointment. I was told that Carla had a family emergency and she was supposed to call us. I never received a phone call but this is not why I am so upset. I asked the lady, who never identified herself to us, if she could fit her in. All we wanted was a haircut. I told her that we could go home and style it. There was only one customer in there at the time. We were told that she had a client coming in within the next 15 minutes or so but she would do it. She acted as if she didn’t want to though. She brought my daughter back to the chair to wash her hair and she was looking through it. She even called the other stylist over. She informed me that she would be unable to cut my daughter’s hair because she had lice. I was shocked. There was no ounce of kindness or sympathy that came from her. We left and my daughter cried the whole way home. I paid a professional to come out and treat her, myself, and my other daughter’s hair to find out that is what not lice at all! It was simply dry skin. I am now out over $300 because of this lady and the emotional stress she put my daughter through, is horrible. We won’t...
Read moreTook my 7 year old daughter to get a hair cut. Simple trim with long layers and face framing. $16 to cut and shampoo, $37 if I wanted to have it blow dried (it is January, a quick blow dry should not cost this much to have a child not freeze after a hair cut). This is by far the worst haircut. It is so uneven, I asked a few times for it to be fixed, I was told it is even (by two of the stylists there). But in looking at it, it was so choppy and no blending. Eventually I just didn’t want them to cut any more off, they shampooed her hair, soaking the entire back of her shirt. She left with combed out super wet hair. I brought her home and blow dried it. The back is still choppy and the front looks like a chunk is missing. Please...
