The “manager” Kirsten at the front for cashiers was incredibly rude, loud, unprofessional, and created a terrible guest experience for not only me but my family who was also shopping inside while I was doing a return. I would suggest additional customer service, conflict management, and basic guest relations training for her. She was the worst employee I’ve ever encountered at this location, which I normally frequent several times a month and have always had a pleasant experience. This particular day I had to do a quick return before going on my family vacation. With the fitting rooms closed, I usually spend hundreds of dollars on items for my family and try them on at home. Rarely do we have an issue with the sizing since we shop here so much. On this day, the three items I had to return were a little over the 30 day return. I asked the cashier, who was really kind, if I could get the money back on my card and she mentioned she couldn’t. Again, as a frequent shopper at this location I know sometimes there are exceptions that can be made to this rule if it’s a few days within the return date. The polite cashier asked for a manager to come over and it was Kiersten. I explained the situation with her and she instantly cut me off and said “We don’t do that here” as if I was lying about it being done in the past. I adjective her “Can we at least try to run the tender back on to the original form of payment instead of jumping to putting this on a gift card?” She said “No, that’s now that we do here as I’ve already told you” and to which I mentioned I’ve already had this done at TJMaxx and Marshall’s in the area, so I’m not sure why she didn’t even want to try. She started getting loud and aggressive while there was a line of customers waiting to get help. I instantly started feeling embarrassed and asked for another manager to come over to help because I didn’t feeling comfortable with how this conversation was going. After waiting s few minutes, the manager (her name began with a V I believe) stepped in and asked me what happened. I started to explain the situation and Kirsten was loud, displayed ratchet behavior, and kept cutting me off while moving her hands irrationally in the background. I asked the store manager if she could be asked to move to another area while I was speaking, and the store manager did her hardest to de escalate the situation. Kirsten would not listen, she kept making the Problem worse by getting louder and unprofessional. She was asked to go to the break room by the store manager and she didn’t go anywhere. I asked her to stop cutting me off while I was speaking and to stop being so loud and classless, but she didn’t listen. At this point she created a hostile shopping environment for myself and I just decided to leave. As I was leaving she mentioned under her breath something along the lines that she “should have slapped me” to another coworker at the front. This was what made me unsafe and realize I would never enter this store again. I asked the store manager, who was apologetic and explained that since I was six days from the 30 days that it would have to be a gift card, for Kierstens name and she yelled “MY NAME IS KIRSTEN IF YOU HAVE ANYMORE QUESTIONS” and I just left the store. No customer should ever have that experience in any store, especially when it’s for a simple...
Read moreMy Favorite shopping place has always been TJ Max until today!! Very very rude staff that clearly doesn’t care about their customers. I was already cut in line by someone and then I wait & the girl tells me she isn’t ready so I wait again then I guess both my pairs of pants I had she thought were sets but they didn’t have anything like it around the store. So then she’s calling someone and no one is able to come so I’m waiting again then finally they have some girl go check the floor. All I know is one pair of pants had a tag that said $6.00 and the other pair didn’t have a tag but there were no duplicates of either pants so they had me wait there for over $20 mins and the manager is moving extremely slow and I’m 8 months pregnant on top of all of this and the girl originally checking me out clearly didn’t want to be there was rude and complaining the whole time. Aswell as they had a whole line of people just waiting behind me and then finally starting checking them out again. Overall HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE & Horrible Customer service. They then come back and the manager tagged both my pants and they had taken the tag off that said $6.00 on the one and were both marked at like 15/16$ and I told her and they acted like the tag wasn’t on there so they must have taken it off and just wanted to be rude. Then the manager took like 5mins alone just...
Read moreCame in with a complaint about a worker in jewerly on Tuesday. Skyler was working at the jewerly counter on Mother's day and let me tell you how she made my day. First of all she was patient, polite, soft spoken, and helpful beyond measures. I wanted so YSL perfume that I didn't get on Tuesday because the cashier was such a jerk. Finally when checking out I seen the perfume on the back counter at check out and unfortunately it was being held for another customer. I waited an hour and a half later to find the customer never purchased to perfume and I was able to buy it. I wish this store and many others had patient cashier as skyler. She was so sweet and left an everlasting impression on me. To the manager at TJ maxx in Port Author, Tx you need to acknowledge her for going that 120 miles for the customer. Thanks Skyler for all my perfume and jewerly you...
