I used to love shopping at this location, but I might not be going back at all.
The last time I was here, I was trying to shop for my fiancé, and myself. However, I was heavily profiled to such an extent that I didn’t finish my trip. I was disheartened and disappointed with how I was treated. I was stared down and followed to a point of unease, and I even overheard a small group of cashiers making inappropriate remarks about me as I waited for my fiancé to finish his shopping. I understand that I’m Hispanic and have visible tattoos that are stereotypically associated with negligent behavior, but that does not justify the way I was treated here.
On top of that, the store was trashed, and the displays were so poorly placed in certain departments that I couldn’t easily navigate with my cart to shop.
Additionally, my fiancé waited over twenty minutes for help in the electronics department so that he could purchase an item that was under lock and key, but he gave up after requesting help and receiving none.

Read moreHad the most interesting experience yesterday. My mother and I frequent this target, and usually have the most enjoyable time, however, yesterday is so engrained in my mind I could hardly sleep. Heading to check out with quite a bit of merchandise each, we were surprised by the line of people all waiting for self checkout due to the fact there were no check out lanes open. After 10 minutes, and plenty of trash talk from other patrons of how we should all be given discounts for having to wait in line to check ourselves out along with other comments, a gentlemen started sending some to guest services to be assisted. He directs us to lane two which they are now opening. We walk up to a very disgruntled employee Jillian, who is vocalizing to her friend how she is not even supposed to be helping anyone, along with other rude dialogue that shouldn’t have been appropriate in front of anyone. I do not think we will be going back for a while. Thank...
Read moreI asked the cashier for a gift receipt twice. When she gave me the receipt sans gift receipt I tried to get her attention by saying “Ma’am,” repeatedly. She ignored me until the customer whose items she begun checking out pointed to me. When I asked if I could get the gift receipt I requested she blatantly rolled her eyes and sighed before printing the gift receipt. The person I was with remarked that the cashier openly rolled her eyes even though I had asked for the gift receipt prior to her closing out the ticket. She ignored us. Then proceeded to complain about me to the customer behind us. I am a 33 year old professional who should not have been treated as an inconvenience because someone didn’t want to acknowledge that she didn’t hear(or chose not to hear) a...
