I was looking for 60GB Sony PlayStation 3 Original Release for my Dad. They had two on display and asked the kid behind the desk if that was a 60Gig model PS3. He had to be smart and say “there’s no such thing as 60 gigabytes, they only manufacture 64 gigabytes” in the most condescending tone in nerd existence 🤣🤣🤣 There was even a family next to me and I looked at them with the side eye and they all smirked and had to walk away and laugh.

I was there with my Dad after he got back from Deployment (December 2006) when we went to Walmart together to buy it before Christmas. I remember this because it doesn’t come with any HDMI cable and it was only supplied RCA’s. We both laughed in front of the TV while we were putting it together. It was a fond memory and something I would never forget. So I know for a damn fact it was 60GB, which we later on upgraded it to 256GB with a WD mini HDD.

Excuse me for the tangent, but that kid made himself look like a fool in front of everyone.

All he had to do was just check.

He didn’t check and just took the signS down, off both console that were for sale, and said that it was a display error.

My Dad has been in this store multiple times and has purchased many items there. I asked him about the kid there and he said he never saw that brother with the glasses before in his life. He only spoke to a Spanish looking guy that works across the street at GameStop and a couple of white folk, but no young brother. He even has the owner’s number.

If the manager of this store reads this, yall need to double check what kind of people you have hired there. Their customer service is complete garbage. I wouldn’t have gone to this extent for writing this review, being harsh and transparent, but this was going to be a Father’s Day gift.

I am livid at the moment. Now I have to drive around to either Dayton or Miami to find a PS3 that works. I could go online and get one, yes, but there is no guarantee it will function. I need to buy and test it on the spot. I’m not giving my Dad a busted PS3 on Father’s Day.

If my father taught me to be a doctor, he definitely gave me enough common sense to inspect a device that is nearly a quarter century old.

Overall, my Dad loves this place, but that narcissistic kid really screwed me over. I would give this place zero stars if I could, but out of respect for my father I’ll give it 3. He believes one apple doesn’t...

Was excited to buy some used games from here since it said they had good inventory on a lot of the items I wanted on there website. I get there at 11 when they open excited to get the stuff I’ve been wanting for a while. I then waited until 11:45 for the employee to actually get there and the employee had me wait outside for another 10 minutes while he set up the store. Finally once he’s ready for me I asked him about availability on games and handhelds they had on there website to which he told me they are all sold out being the games and handhelds which they were supposed to have an abundance of. After being told they didn’t have them I was then informed that they hadn’t updated their website in some time and that they had handhelds it’s just the guy keeps putting off fixing them even though they have the parts. Overall waste of time and they should be update there’s hours if somebody can’t be asked to show up until an hour after the listed opening time. Better off just making the trip up to dark side in Sarasota instead of wasting your time like I did.

I drove in from about an hour away to get to the store because I was curious to see a full on Gundam store. I was not disappointed. Staff was absolutely amazing, good conversation and super friendly. Physically, ive not seen this variety of gundam products anywhere in florida before, not like this. They got a huge selection! Also the prices are super reasonable, infact, it would seem its pretty much the normal retail price bandai would charge from their official website, which is a bit of a rarity to see. Fantastic Selection, Fantastic Prices, Super Friendly Staff, i ended up getting 5 figures!!

SIDE NOTE: I guess one of the staff had an emergency and they were supposed to be closed but someone had to come in and pick up something work related. Point is they were supposed to be closed when I came in but when they saw me, the guy opened up for a bit to let me in and look around the store, which I was super grateful for because I drove in from south fort myers which was a bit of a hike. That really helped make the experience all the greater because the staff member that came in was really solid for letting me in like that. Really capitalized...
