Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Florida

I don’t know what happened to this place. Last time I came about 4 weeks ago, I stood at the counter and no one acknowledged me for several minutes so I walked out. The girl who waited on me today was there that day counting a register but never said we will be right there or anything. She knew I was there.

I came back today after passing several food places because of time. The same girl at counter seems annoyed I am even here. I wasn’t finished ordering but she walked away in the middle of it.

My order was incorrect. I say something and accept the black beans are on the tacos instead of on the side as requested. No jalapeños she confirms I wanted. Back to the counter. They seem annoyed I again mention the mistake.

A few years ago this store had happy employees who would gladly take your order and if a mistake was made own it with a smile and apology. Who are these unhappy and annoyed people running the show for customers who are the ones making their paychecks happen? Pathetic.

I just watched 2 ladies walk in and the manager and the two other girls chatting at the counter walked to the back. Didn’t greet them or anything. Another girl came to the counter at least. Unreal. Literally turned their backs to them and walked...

Update Man these guys get it right just every dang time. Today's lunch was great and ready on time! Give that young lady behind yhe counter a chance at shift leader!

Just got lunch on break from here. I have 30 mins to get my grub on. Food was ready when I arrived ahead of time promised. Good food all was fresh tasting and hot. The woman who took care of me was super nice and considerate even taking her time to pour my drink slowly to get the cup filled to the top with no fizz ( thank you for that, it truly us the little things ) all while smiling! Food again tasted great, I wish I asked the name of young lady who served me and who prepared the food. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was she that plated it, food was generously portioned and each part was separated on my dish and actually had a very nice presentation. Yes, I just used that word while referring to Tijuana Flats, something you would expect at more expensive cantinas, was a pleasant surprise here! I got a Megajuana bowl, chicken, rice, beans all parted with an even layer of pico and cheese on top of the rice and a perfect scoop of guacamole. All for a really affordable price! VERY HAPPY WITH LUNCH...

September 6th 2023 at around 8pm, My wife ordered a side of sour cream with our meal. We paid the .69 and did not receive it with our order. A short debate was had at the register when we asked about it and we were told it would be right out. My wife waited by the kitchen entry, I sat at the table. We both watched as two young ladies laughed and joked as they prepared two 2oz cups of sour cream. To our collecive dismay one cup was literally licked by the blond girl. When they turned to bring it out, my wife stopped them and said we didn't want it anymore. The blond girl followed my wife to the table and insisted that the one she was bringing us was NOT the one she licked. My wife continued to tell her that we didn't want it regardless of whether or not it was the one she didn't LICK. The blond refused to leave the table or provide us with the managers phone number. A brief shouting match followed and soon a shift manager joined us to apologize. No matter how you look at this: CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HAVE SHOUTING MATCHES OVER WHETHER OR NOT THE FOOD BEING BROUGHT TO THEM WAS OR...
