The experience here was very deflating and frustrating. I went to this store with my son because I heard that they were a good place to get pants for prom. My son is not a small guy. He is 6'3" 280lbs and built like a linebacker, so I am fully aware that he is not the easiest to fit and tailor. That is something that should have been said by the owner that was helping us when we first got there. The owner originally was very helpful. I honestly believed that he knew what he was doing. We were picking pants and trying on things. He offered to help. I showed him a picture from his suit rental book and explained the way we needed the pants tailored. He mentioned to us that my son did have bigger than normal thighs so it would be a task to tailor the pants. He suggested starting with a size 50 (my son wears a 38) and tailor it down. Without measuring tape or tools, he pins and marks the areas that were to be altered. When he explained that it might be difficult to remove the amount fabric we needed removed, we even asked if we should downsize and try altering from the bottom up. He did not agree. $109 later (cost of pants + $50 tailor fee), I have a pair of pants that we can not use. Nothing was done to try to remedy this issue. Not even the courtesy of at least offering the cost of tailoring back, since that was the messed up portions. I'm not going to throw a tantrum on here, but want to hopefully prevent someone else from the same issues and...

I can’t say thank you enough for your help today. So here’s what happened; Yesterday I found out my Uncle passed away. The services will be 15 hours north Sunday at 2. We recently moved to the area and the timing is stressful. My lady and I decided to start shopping. Landed at my “go to”, Kohl’s. Not exactly what I was looking for there so ran to JC Penny’s. All of their clothes were wrinkled. I can understand some clothes in a big department. But the 100 dollar jackets and pants. I can’t spend 200 plus for a wrinkled suit. I was very disappointed they couldn’t help with a steam or anything bc I found the suit I wanted. I literally put it up to find somewhere else more professional. Thankful to have found Men’s Palace. The gentleman saw that I had a need and addressed it. Helped me find the perfect fit. They sensed the urgency. The Lady tailored my pant after the gentleman got the length and had it ready by the end of the day. Packaged and steamed ready for travel! I was so impressed I felt like I should have left a tip. Good Service is worth paying more for. I honestly feel like I got the best deal. Bc experiences are priceless. I just told my girlfriend I need 5 new suits. Over time I will get them, from this location. Thanks...

What started as a simple quest to get my measurements for a suit turned into a LoTR level adventure around Port Charlotte that finished at Men’s Palace.

Karina over there not only helped me with my measurements but also identified various suit options I hadn’t considered before based on my boot and vest choices. She double checked all my measurements as well, which in and of itself isn’t that big of a deal but what’s appreciated is the level of detail she brought to the entire process. She even went over how to order the specific suit my buddy’s wife demands us wear even though it wasn’t something they could offer directly.
