I dropped off two sentimental pieces of jewelry to be repaired on July 24, 2018 to surprise my wife on her birthday today August 29,2018. A clasp to be repaired and a pearl bracelet to be restrung. The ticket number was 1560 with a due date of ASAP. I called today after work to pick up and was told it's not done but will be ready Friday. I explained to the woman that I wanted it repaired as a surprise for my wife's birthday today. I'm placed on hold then a man gets on the phone I'm assuming Willis says hello and what did I need because I asked for him. After explaining the situation he says he can have it done this afternoon noon. It's 1617 now and they close at 1700. So now I'm upset that a 45 minute job has taken more than a month. I voice my frustration and he says it is what it is and he will drop everything to work on my order. No thank you I will pass.. Living in Asheville NC has taught me to support local businesses to take care of your local community. The issue with that is when a local mom and pop fails like this there is no one outside the 4 walls to satisfy the customers. So my only recourse is to publicly express my dissatisfaction to your business. I tried to give you my business based off your 4.4 star rating and I can only hope this will educate new potential customers for you. I would never recommend this so called business to anyone! My husband made a purchase for xmas,I brought it back less then 5 ,10 days after xmas to return it as I was not at all happy with it. Was told No refunds!?! I was willing to exchange the piece but found nothing and was basically turned away in silence! He,the owner had nothing to say to me other then put his head down,seriously?!.!? I find that individuals whom act in this manner, have little respect. The owner had No problem taking my 374.00...

I have taken 2 stunning necklaces to David for repair, he had them done in just a couple of days. And at a extremely great price. I left there so happy. Months later going through my old jewelry and found lots of items that needed repair, got the items back in a week and he replaced one of the stones at no charge. Getting ready to take some more stuff to him in hopes he will be able to get them done in time for Christmas. I would recommend this place to anyone...
