Wawa — Restaurant in Port Charlotte

As someone who has gone to Wawa most of her life (I’m from north) and has a child who is a gm at Wawa I feel confident saying this is by far the worst run Wawa I have ever been to. I live walking distance away, less than a block away, and I don’t come here often. I went yesterday because I was being lazy and I am regretting it. Ordered 2 hoagies…seems easy enough. 1/2 hour (actually 34 min) I still don’t have my hoagies. I ask the woman and she tells me I already got them. That she personally made them. I assure her she can watch the video and I absolutely do not have them…..haven’t moved from my spot. Then Erica, the manager jumps in and I am still being polite yet irritated. She acts like I stole hoagies. The guy filling the bags (not making them just bagging orders) says “here’s on of your hoagies”. I said that wasn’t my hoagie. My number was 698….the number on the hoagie he put in my bag was 689. A little dyslexic malfunction…not a big deal but then Erica proceeded to throw snide rude remarks because I wanted what I ordered. I did not want number 689…I wanted my order. Went there October 1 after the hurricane to get gas I waited almost 5 hours in the car line after waiting that long with get to the pump from 11:00 to 6:00 pm and went Inside to pay because was only cash because of the Hurricane. The Skinny white lady that was in charge there was rude and told me to hurry up because the people that was standing waiting to pump gas were waiting for a long time. I told her I had waiting for 5 hours in the car line. She answered ( I don’t care about you I care about them.) I told her she was been rude. And she threatened me that she was going to call the police on me and my family. She feels so powerful working there and treating people rude. Lucy needs to learn how to do her job…….. it’s not that complicated. I came in to buy $15 worth of gas and she charged my card for it but never put it into the system. I ended up coming into the store three separate times and they took every dime off of my card and still didn’t give me any gas. So I had to sit and wait on hold with customer service and not earn money like I was doing. They told me it could likely be a seven day wait to get my money back. When I talked to the manager they acted as though it was my fault and …..not Lucy’s. Shame on this store. I get to sit at a gas station and not leave while Lucy gets to stand inside making money. Luckily a complete stranger paid it forward and gave me cash otherwise I would’ve been stranded here.
