I started to attend Oranday Bros Jiu-Jitsu in late June 2023, I was very skeptical about doing it since I was still extremely overweight about 265 LBS and had a lot of other issues going on physically. But when I walked through the door everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming and completely understanding of my situation now it's the end of October and I weigh 226 Lbs with about 39 pounds lost so far from there awesome recommendations and great programs they have going on twice a day for beginner adults! I have considered joining OBJJ for months, but I was so extremely terrified to even walk through the door. For some reason I had it stuck in my head that this was a “mans sport” that “ I would be the only female in the class”. Let me tell you something. I was completely wrong. My first day of class I met so many amazing women who were so welcoming and so patient with me. I honestly kick my self in the butt for not joining sooner. The support from everyone at OBJJ is simply amazing. It is another family that I get to embrace. It’s a place to go clear my head of all my stresses and focus on training. I will write a longer review later, but this is one of my favorite places in the world. The instructors (coaches?) are incredible, the people are super welcoming and supportive of your journey on The Path, and before you know it, you're part of the family.

This is the best gym for miles. They are attached to Lucas Lepri who, if you didn't know (I didn't), is one of the greatest in the world. His legacy in the head instructor at this gym shows.

If you don't do BJJ, start. It's never too late. And once you start, I can almost guarantee that you'll wish you started earlier. So do not hesitate.
