WARNING: If you want to get your hair ruined, look disastrous, and walk out looking like you’ve been growing your highlights out for a year, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!! The whole salon, is dirty, unprofessional, and unethical.I booked a consult with Hannah, who supposedly is a blonding specialist… I specifically told her, that I didn’t want any lowlights, no haircut, and that my hair pulls really warm, but I always glaze with cooler tones. She said she totally understood and said she was capable of doing so. I felt a bit uneasy, because she just looked so disheveled, but I told myself not to judge based on that. It takes her 2hrs to foil just the back of my head, then abruptly gets up and proceeds to leave without saying a word. I sit for 30 min before A salon assistant comes and tells me she will rinse me without even checking to see if I’ve lifted enough yet. The assistant proceeds to take the foils out and not rinse anything so the dark color is now bleeding onto my previously lightened blonde hair. Then the manager comes over after another 10 min because the assistant disappeared and now there’s no one anywhere in the salon that I could see, and proceeds to rinse me but leaves a bunch of color on my neck that I feel and it’s just running down my back. After another few minutes Hannah comes back, tells me she had to go eat. I was appalled….never, EVER, do you leave a client in the middle of a service to go eat. I mention this, and that I’m not rinsed properly and question the dark color. She agrees they left color all over my head and neck but backpedals and says that she did do highlights but took that bowl away and that she did lowlights as well. I told her I specifically told you I wanted NO LOWLIGHTS, but at this point she already had done the back like this so it would look really uneven not to do any in the front. It took her another 2hrs to foil the rest of my hair… I ask her if my blonde is light enough and she says definitely. At this point I’ve been there 5hrs which is absurd…this service shouldn’t take more than 2hrs total including a blow dry. I was really late to pickup my kids, I explained I have 10 min to please dry my hair as much as possible. She makes me pay first, which I did, and gave her the tip too. I still haven’t seen my hair yet, because yet again I’m turned facing the wall. The whole time, she just was burning my scalp and not drying anything. I told her to stop and I got up and look in the mirror and I’m horrified. She didn’t do any highlights, just lowlights…that’s not even the worst part, the lowlights were only pulled halfway down my hair strand. I immediately tell her that I’m quite unhappy and this isn’t what I asked for. I said I really have to go pickup my kids, but I will text you because this needs to be fixed. I text her immediately upon getting home, and provided pictures of my hair after I blow dried it, and she totally disregarded me and told me there’s nothing she can do and that they don’t offer refunds but she will take my professional opinion into account going forward. She charged me $300 for doing nothing but make my hair horrible, and there’s nothing she’s willing to do about it. Even if she had offered to fix it, Incompetence is an understatement. I called the salon to speak with the owner, and she had the same nasty ass attitude. She didn’t care that her own employee bad mouthed her salon, the mere fact that she ruined someone’s hair, her professional reputation, or doing the right thing, having great customer service, none of that. She was short tempered, and hung up the phone….mind you in all the texts between Hannah, and the phone call with Jennifer the owner, I was nothing but pleasant, yet the owner thought it was in her best interest to hang up on me and not willing to resolve anything. In addition, they sneakily redid their website after all this, and it now says they don’t offer refunds. I will make sure to tell anyone and everyone who will listen about this place, and the filth all over the walls and floor, in addition to their poor skills as...
Read moreThis was my second visit here; returning a 2nd time for the Marine Corps Ball. The first time was great-- I don't remember the girl who did my makeup and my hair but when I booked with this salon I was hoping to get them again, I did not. It was fine I could work with that. I checked in 15 min before my appt and waited. My time came around to be seen and (2) people that worked there told me they were running behind and to wait to be seen. It wasn't until at least 30 min after my appt time that I was booked for makeup. The girl was nice and personable-- def made me feel at ease however the makeup was way too light and heavy on the eye makeup. All I wanted was highlight and a simple eyeshadow that wasn't too overwhelming. I tried to stay hopeful since there was nowhere else to go and I was running behind. Half way into my makeup the girl who was supposed to do my hair (short and petite with brown hair--Kylee?) came in and immediately said she had to start on my hair (at the same time as my makeup) the girl doing my makeup seemed hesitant but responded with “as long as you don’t interfere”. Kylee began talking about a lady who called about her son and asked her if she did boys haircuts. She was complaining about this for awhile and talking a lot with the girl doing my makeup with the vibe that she doesn’t do little boys haircuts due to inexperience. I could be wrong. During her complaints I asked her if she could do extensions and she said she could do clip ins. So I gave her some brand new extensions that I had just purchased. This is where the entire salon experience was horrifying. She kept trying to push the Clips into my head and moving my head forward w some much force i had to push mybhead backward while trying to stay still enough for the girl to do my makeup. At this point She’s still talking and complaining. The girl doing my makeup had to say something along the lines of "I think it'll help if you open the clips and then close them each instead of pushing into her head". She ignored her and said the clips were difficult to work with--mind you she's pushing my head over and over forward as the girl who was trying to do my makeup was trying to work. It was ridiculous. The girl finished my makeup and they rushed me over to hair. This is where it gets so unbelievably awkward as the girl doing my hair just became so mute and silent it was so uncomfortable. She then says "oh I'm sorry I'm quiet, being social with clients is not my strong point". She also mentions that the salon had talked to her about this before. At this time I was already running a bit late and needed to get on the road. She finished my hair and didn't give me what I was looking for. A picture was provided for a simple half up-do. I paid for my entire experience and left their salon with one eyebrow. I wanted to cry but it was so awkward and I was running late that I had to just pay and leave. She laughed as I said “sorry but I really have to go”, as I’m gathering my things. My hair barely lasted at the end of the night because the extensions were sliding down. All that was holding it up were the million Bobby pins. I tipped 20% for their services when I could have done it myself /&: saved myself an awkward and humiliating experience. I won't be going back nonetheless. On the Monday after the ball, I had to call them because when I got home from the ball I realized she didn't use all of my extensions, and I had to call their office to inquire about the missing pieces which were later picked up. I wanted to to book them for a nice haircut but I won't be going back there. I am surprised they have someone so inexperienced working the floor for various hairstyles, and haircuts, not to mention very unprofessional and lacks...
Read moreI called one day asking if they had any availability that week. The stylist said if I could get there in the next hour she could fit me in. When I got there we talked and agreed on a balayage. She got started, it seemed like it was goung good until she said it was going to have to be a partial balayage. Not what I wanted but there was no going back since I only had a few minutes left processing and she was rushing. She cut and styled it then showed me the front. She said "If you dont like it, or see something is wrong call me within the week and I'll fix it, or another stylist will." I paid $170 plus tip in cash and some on the card. (Which if you see their prices it should've added up to $135 for the services. So not sure what happened) The following day I called her and told her that I had been told by another a stylist that it was messed up in the back and asked if she could fix it since it did not look like a balayage it looked like she placed a bowl on my head and put color on the ends. I texted her pictures so she could see what I was talking about. She said she didn't have time to do it. So I asked her if I could come in after her last client she said no. So I asked if she could set me up with another stylist she said that it would cost me but I would get 20% off the services.... 20% off of another $170?!?! No thank you. Then she told me there were no stylist available. I called the salon to speak with the owner. She didn't seem to care, was a little dismissive and told me that I was going to have to pay. But that no one was available to do the work. At that point I was overwhelmed and started to cry. Being 6 months pregnant, having my baby shower the following week and having to pay again for possibly another terrible dye job was not what I wanted. I asked for my money back so I could get it fixed elsewhere, she said no. I asked for partial refund she said they don't do refunds. Even though it's not posted anywhere in the salon or website. Some miraculous way she found a stylist and said she wasn't going to charge me. So I showed up the next day terrified of what job this other girl would do. The new stylist sat me in her chair asked me what I needed and seen and agreed with me that it was not done well. That it was not blended right and the color was not brought up properly. She fixed it. She was so nice and sweet. The first stylist and the owner not so much. They walked by me multiple times, made eye contact with me and never said a word. No I'm sorry, no how are you, nothing. Very rude. When I went to leave I realized I didn't have cash to tip her. So I asked if I could tip with a card. Nope not unless I bought something.... so then I buy close to $40 in product and tip the stylist. The stylist said bye and was very helpful and friendly. And again the owner just stood there and not said a word to me. If she would have, I would have came back. This review would a been a 4 star. If the second stylist were to move to a new salon I would definitely go see her. I really wanted to love that salon but since the owner didn't treat me kindly or like a valued customer I will never go back, or recommend...
