We walked in at 11:30pm and immediately the waitress was extremely nice and friendly. We noticed how freezing cold it was, so we requested our order to go. Still the waitress was very polite. Wasn't many people in the restaurant but food kept being made, I guess for pick up orders. Finally at 12:10am we heard the waitress calling out our order to the cook. Another guy also was waiting on an order to go and told them to nevermind also. Felt terrible for our waitress, as she did nothing wrong and we do understand that this was not her fault. We aren't from here so obviously we won't be back. There's nothing worse than craving late night waffle House and then being disappointed and having to settle for taco Bell because nothing else is open. But again, I cannot stress enough that I don't think this was the waitresses fault in any way and we felt bad leaving but were too hungry to sit in the freezing cold for...
Read moreTalk about a joke of an establishment. I walked in today, all tables were full, so I asked the person who looked like she was in charge (who seemed to like to wear her personal jean jacket over her uniform--so unable to see a name); anyways she looked around and then decided to say "all tables are full"- to which I replied"I can see that, but do you have an idea of log t will be before a table open?"-- to which she replied "I do not know" and then she went back to doing whatever she was doing. Worst customer service ever. The owners of this establishment really need to look at closing this junk hole!!!!!!! I have been to several waffle house's and usually enjoy the personal and friendly service--something this establishment obviously forgot to train on!!!! Not one bright spot at this joint-- her name in Nona-- she is personable and friendly and a...
Read moreI came to the restaurant on 04/12/2024 at 0500 in the morning. I wanted some food before getting on the water. There was 5 African American males sitting at the bar area, and 1 African American female behind the cash register. I went to open the door and it was locked. I looked at the lady behind the register and she quickly looked away from me as if she was ignoring me. If I had been African American, I'm sure they would of let me in, as there was already 5 of them in there, But since I was white, they ignored me. This is a fishing town, we get up early to fish on the weekends. So I am positive that there was others that got turned away this morning as well. This issue should probably addressed with the staff that worked...
