Village at Tradition — Local services in Port Saint Lucie

If I could give this place no stars I would. The garbage is always full and lays for days on end. The hallway and stairs are dirty and filled with spider webs. I have to wipe the webs away from the hallway to my front door. The kids playground is dirty and also filled with spiders and ants. My daughter got so bit up from the ants I had to take her to urgent care. The staff not only lives here but also posted reviews under their name. How can you work here and write a biased review? You think the place would be better kept. The pest control does not exist. The back of the community looks like a junk yard filled with broken furniture and trash left by disgruntled residents who moved out. The community gates are broken since we moved in although I was assured they would be fixed. The neighbors above me play loud music and fight sometimes and my children get scared from all of the screaming. The ventilation is extremely poor. We always smell our neighbors cooking and cigarette smoke. The air conditioner is very loud and I can’t hear when I’m on work calls. We were supposed to receive fobs for the amenitiesh but that never happened. So many people have moved out of my building and others since moving in because the cheaper rent is not worth all the hassle you get here. So my fiancé has lived in this apartment complex for 1 month, and right away we noticed the smokey fire smell, as if it was inside the apartment.

My fiancé has suffered from coughing, throwing up, and waking up throughout the night due to the smell of smoke.

We have talked to multiple residents who all complain about the terrible camp fire smell all night. Also, the walls are like cardboard, you can hear your neighbors Breathing practically. I mean, $2,000 a month for such a small apartment, youd imagine the place will be a better experience.

After 30 days of waking up due to the fire smokey smell, coughing, having issues breathing, we brought it to the management staff and they wanted nothing to do with us.

All the staff members are not on the same page, they all say different things, and it just seems so unprofessional.

Residents we spoke to all agree the management is friendly when you sign the lease and flip the switch after you live there.

You would think if a resident is struggling, let them break the lease for 2 months rent and leave… nope, they want 3 months rent to leave.

I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone, stay away. You will hear your neighbors walking above you, you will hear your neighbors dogs, you will be living in a camp fire breathing smoke, and paying a unbelievable amount monthly for no customer service whatsoever from the staff.

I would NOT RECOMMEND leasing here. The staff is unprofessional, unfriendly, and rude. The are no resident events like they claim to have upon signing your lease (they do not send out emails to alert residents about the happenings in the community). The hallways are not kept, filthy, always filled with debris and spiders. The garage lays for days, sometimes even a full week on end with maintenance riding by in the gold cart doing absolutely nothing about it. There is significant water damage on property. The hallways constantly flood when it rains making it a hazard for you and your family making sure not to slip and fall. The apartments are very small. There are no ceiling fans even though they advertise as such on their website and flyers. The appliances and apartment it self are incredibly cheap and these “new” apartments have damage, unfinished walls, gauges in the floor. Pet owners do not pick up after their pets and you’ll find food garbage all over the property. The gates rare open 24/7 and we were promised fobs but have yet to receive them. The property is not “gated” like it should be. The maintenance team does not do a good job of taking care of the property, more often then not they are seen joy riding on the golf carts outside of the property.
