It’s gotta be the Sauce! There are several great options to chose from in Port St.Lucie if you’re looking for a nice Italian cuisine.  They’re all very professional and take pride in their food.  I’ve tried many butknew II hadn’t quite found the right one…until today! I did a to go order at Pulcinella Pizza&Market.  Nothing particularly stood out to me except that they sold the ingredients, and the store reminded me of a NYC shop versus South Florida.  I ordered a meat lover’sStromboli and the Meatballs from the appetizer menu. I took my food home, sat at my kitchen table and took a bite. Instantly, my eyes closed, the symphony started playing and I said out loud, Yessssssss!  This is it.  This is the one.  They take just as much care as the others soI’m guessing butta bing butta boom, it must be the sauce! Great job staff and thank you kindly for my order today.

We were eagerly looking forward to trying the new Italian pizzeria and market, but unfortunately, "disappointing" doesn't even begin to describe our experience. The pizza looked promising at first, with the top cooked well, but the dough underneath was nearly raw. My sandwich was served on stale bread, adding to the letdown. The $14 pasta e fagioli was completely bland and didn't resemble the dish at all. A major red flag was when I asked for the soup of the day, only to be told they don’t have one. Instead, they offered frozen soups that are "made daily," which doesn’t exactly scream fresh or homemade. We opted for take-out and, given the disappointment, we certainly didn’t feel like driving all the way back to return the food. For the prices they charge, the quality is simply unacceptable. It's not worth a second chance.

We received a flyer and coupons in our mailbox so we decided to try it out and I am glad we did. First of all, the food is fantastic. We tried the Pulcinella woodfire pizza (cheese, mushroom, truffle cream) with cup pepperoni added, and a pepperoni roll. The menu is diverse and interesting and there are many other things I’d like to try. They also have a variety of prepared meals ready to go and an assortment of grocery items like a proper Italian market. The wait was almost double what we were told on the phone, so they may want to work on communication (it was a takeout order), but we will definitely be back!

We went today for the first time, we got there around 7:10pm, ordered the food for four people, and since the tables are all outside and started raining, we decided that we will take the food home. The lady told us 25 mins. After 40 mins waiting, another employee asked us what we were waiting for, he went to check, came back, and told us two more minutes. About 15 mins later (at that point we were waiting for 55 mins aprox) and still no signs of our food, we asked the lady for our order and told her that we had been waiting more than twice the time she had told us, her reply was oh, I'm sorry. We waited for at least another 10 mins and they finally gave us our orden. For the time we got home it was almost 8:30pm and, surprise, surprise, the order wasn't complete. We ordered two pasta meals, one pizza and five chicken wings. They didn't pack one of the pasta meals. I immediately called them and, again, the lady just said "I'm sorry" AND that she told me that she will give us a credit for next time. Next time? Are you insane? We may understand the wait, but they knew that we waited for more than ONE HOUR, why they didn't make sure that at least they had packed it complete? It was a small order, how you can missed that? And that after calling to complain, the first solution they offered is to give us a credit for next time? Do you really think that you deserve a second chance? What was the person that didn't get the food supposed to eat for dinner? When the lady heard how angry I was, she said that someone will bring us the pasta and yes, we received it 20 minutes later, obviously, when the rest of the family had already finished eating. So for service and customer service, they cannot even get one star.

Regarding the food, the three people that received their food said it was okay, the highest score was for the garlic knots. 7.5.

The food is just ok, the customer service is far from acceptable. I ordered dinner at 5pm on a Saturday night through door dash. Come to find out they don't use dashers to deliver. They use in house drivers only delivering ONE ORDER AT A TIME! I told them then maybe they shouldn't be on door dash if they can not fulfill the orders. Over 2hrs later and the food has yet to arrive. The same thing happened on Halloween. I ordered in the morning for 3 pies to be ready at 5:30pm for take out. It wasn't ready until 6:30pm. No apology, no refunds. Just excuses of being short staffed. After calling a third time they said I could come pick it up when they had just told me 30mins prior it was on the way! So that was A LIE! I live 5 mins from the restaurant yet it still took ANOTHER 30mins when they said it was being loaded. My children were starving, im home sick I would've picked it up but they told me it was on the way. They said they would give me a credit if I still wanted the food, then went back on their word and said nope we can't do a refund or credit. It's not about the money, it's the principle of customer service. Almost 2.5hrs later it showed up. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN, the food isn't that great and definitely not worth the hassle. I will tell everyone I know to stay far far away from this place. It's sad it really is, they just opened and obviously have no clue how to run a restaurant. You heard it here first this place...

I wish I could post a photo of today’s experience. I have been a monthly customer since they soft-opened this business. I’ve made over 15 visits, today is the last. Service wise, they let me down every time. The waits were always 30-60 minutes over their given wait time. You have to stand inside with the wood smoke burning your eyes or sit outside and hope that someone is competent enough to remember your face and come get you. Be careful with kids as sometimes the cooks have a potty mouth if the cashier doesn’t hush them that a customer is in store. The food is very inconsistent. I worked in pizzerias for a majority of my life. In the traditional oven, pizzas will sometimes come out with gross black bottoms because the oven was not cleaned/broomed out recently. One time the pizza dough was extremely salty, as if they accidentally confused salt for sugar in the dough recipe resulting in almost double the sodium. Today, I ordered two meatball appetizers that come with two garlic knots each. I received 4 hard as a rock biscuits no more than two inches in diameter each. They had no garlic or butter on them. Just plain, hard and dry bread. I was shocked. I have given this place multiple chances since they are the only pizzeria close to me. With a competitor opening in the plaza, I will take my...
