DO NOT SHOP HERE—THESE JEWELERS ARE THIEVES!
I had the worst experience at this store when I took my Rolex watch in for repairs. The gold crown and small black spring had come loose, so I brought the watch in by itself. They took a picture of the watch but not of the gold crown and spring, which they placed in a small plastic bag. Fortunately, I had taken my own picture before handing it over.
I dropped off the watch on a Thursday afternoon, expecting a call by Friday, but I heard nothing. I called on Saturday—no answer. On Monday, they finally called to give me a repair quote, which was outrageously higher than another estimate I had received. I told them I would come in to discuss the price.
When I arrived on Tuesday, they quoted me $518 for the repair and an additional $250 for cleaning—an exorbitant fee. I decided to take my watch back, but when they returned it, the small bag they handed me did not contain my gold crown and black spring. Instead, it held a silver crown and a silver long spring—clearly not mine. When I confronted them, the young woman claimed the repairman wasn’t in and asked me to return another day.
I knew something was wrong. I have worn this watch since 1988 after surviving breast cancer—I know every detail of it.
When I returned on March 13, 2025, knowing the repairman was there, they once again tried to return the watch with the wrong parts. I refused to take it and insisted on getting my original gold crown and black spring. Realizing I would not leave quietly, they called the police—a blatant attempt to intimidate me.
Two officers arrived, listened to their story, and barely acknowledged mine. They dismissed it as a “civil matter” and told me to take it to court. But this is not a civil dispute—this is theft. They either stole or lost my property.
The police forced me to take my watch without the missing parts and made me sign a receipt. I was then escorted out of the store, humiliated and furious.
I am 83 years old, but I am not senile—they thought they could fool me by replacing my gold crown with junk. They failed.
I strongly warn anyone: DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE WITH YOUR JEWELRY. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and will try to cheat you. If you value your belongings,...
Read moreSCAM! I would give ZERO stars if I could! I had a rope chain that was my fathers that had some gold sticking out in some places. My mom used this jeweler since I was a kid so I felt comfortable taking my pieces here. I also brought a ring to be sized down that my mom had made at this jeweler. We talked about not sizing the ring down because it wasn’t going to be sized by much and did not want to make the gold weak. Understandable, so we passed on the ring sizing. On to my necklace, they told me it would be $200 to fix the 3-4 areas that were poking out. I was okay with this and we talked about adding a different (more expensive) clasp to make sure it is secure, I was also okay with this for an extra $80. While she did say that in the future the necklace could still break she NEVER once said the chain was “unrepairable” or that we should not fix the chain. I also was not expecting the chain to break FOUR DAYS after pick up. When my husband went in to explain that it’s only been four days and it’s already breaking she said that she told us the chain was unrepairable and that she told us this before paying. Please help me understand why I would pay $300 to fix an unrepairable chain? It doesn’t make sense. Then the only thing they want to do is “fix” it for free. Again, if it’s in repairable what are you “fixing” ? Now I’m not asking for a full refund because obviously I bought I clasp and I understand it’s a business and you spent time on the jewelry. I’m asking I get something back, maybe $100 out of the $300 I spent. I would feel a little better. Nope, they REFUSED to do anything besides say they would “fix” an unrepairable chain. If this is the kind of customer service and business they are running, then I want no part in it. I hope other people see this and...
