Visiting many times, they have delicious wings. They can take up to 30 minutes, (depending on how busy they are) but most of the time, they come out pretty quickly. This last weekend, went with some people and our food came out so much later than usual. The waitress warned us that it would be a little bit. However, it was way longer than what was told to us. We got to the place at 8:45pm sat down and ordered an appetizer, and meal at the same time. The appetizer and soup came out almost an hour later maybe 45 minutes. (They weren't a little behind, it was a lot). We didn't leave till almost 11pm. š
Their clam chowder was fantastic. And was told the French Onion Soup was very flavorful as well. We had the seared tuna appetizer, it was alright. They didn't bring out any soysauce with it (not sure if you need to ask for it) but we were starving and didn't care for it at that point. About another 10-15 minutes we got our dinner (wings, burger and salad).
Their wings are always delicious (mild is the sweetest flavor). Never soggy, and perfect doneness. Everytime I come here, I order the wings. The time before this trip it was wings and Caesar salad. (The Caesar salad is fresh, crisp and just the right amount of dressing).
I can't really say anything bad about this place. Just when it's busy, the kitchen will tend to get behind. Especially if there's a major football game on. If anything, just come relax and enjoy a nice cold beer, they have lots to choose from.
TL;DR : Wings are always amazing, try the clam chowder and Caesar salad. Don't come when there's a football game unless you can wait for your food, or not in a rush to eat. Many menu items to to choose from and they have a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA shame to see the turtle going under. Been a local choosing to eat here for about 18 years and have been sorely disappointed the last handful of times that i think ill have to just not return. On a sunday afternoon, not busy at all, my friend and I: Ordered apps..- over cooked, ordered mains...- undercooked. Im talking cold raw burger meat. I ordered a med rare burger because i do like a little pink but this was not that by any means, more of a tartar and I did specifically ask for their "black and blue" burger to be med. rare because im not trying to get tapeworms where the waitress assured me i could order the temperature i wanted and it was just the name of the dish.. brought it to her attention afterwards and she said she'd get the manager.
The manager agreed the burger was massively undercooked and comped that, but not the whole app which was ruined by boiling hot, grease drenched, burnt chips.... twice.
All im saying is if i were a manager at a restaurant and i could visibly see a burnt appetizer and a raw meat burger id make it right, because obviously this meal was trashed by the cook and obviously the customers didnt get to enjoy their meal that they chose to come to my establishment and spend their money with... instead it was worth keeping the $5.48 than to lose two local customers whos family and friends have loved this restaurant for the better part of two decades.
Dont know if ownership changed but this used to be a fav spot and they never missed in the past but over the past few years has been less and less of the restaurant we knew and loved. R.I.P....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell where do I start. I donāt ever leave reviews but on this occasion I need to get it off my chest. Yesterday I went here for wings and after waiting 35 minutes for 10 wings that I ordered medium were brought to me hot. I didnāt make a big deal out of it so I sat at the bar and waited for more wings. I then witnessed the cook and GM Travis wipe them off with a towel and throw them back in the fryer. Others also witnessed it and said so the the bartender Travis. I have been a loyal patron for about 20 years atleast twice a week. When I confronted him he told me to leave and never come back. I work in the busiest Barbershop in Port St. Lucie and see over 400 clients a month just myself. I always tell people that this is the best restaurant for wings in Port St. Lucie. The last few months the quality and service has fallen off bad. I have been going there since happy hour was 25 cent wings and oysters and 5 dollar pitchers so that tells you how long Iāve been a loyal patron. So now Iām banned from going there because of the Bartenders gross negligence although I did nothing wrong. So from now on I will let everyone I know including the 1500 clients we see a month about what happened and steer everyone clear from this establishment. I called and ask to talk to the head manager right after and was told he can do whatever he wants. This is totally...
