Canton House Restaurant — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

This is my second time visiting Canton House, and I gotta say—the food is amazing. The first time I came in, I ordered the beef with broccoli 🥦 (yeah, I know, sounds funny), and I also got the fried chicken wings with the special fried rice combo.

Now, here’s the backstory: When I first walked in, I asked the owner if his food was good, considering he’s got a lot of competition from Jade Bowl (which I frequent). He confidently told me he had the best Chinese food in town. I was skeptical at first, thinking, "Yeah, yeah, everybody says that." But he said, "You’ll see," and sure enough, it was really good—like, surprisingly delicious. A couple of other patrons inside even agreed, saying his food was solid.

The second time I went back, he remembered me, which was pretty cool. We shared a laugh, and it felt like good vibes all around. I went in for some chicken this time, and let me tell you—this was some of the best, most authentic chicken I’ve had in a long time. They cook it just like we do—like the black folks do, you know what I mean? It was flavorful, juicy, and seasoned perfectly.

Now, here’s the funny part: they gave me hot sauce (because we all know black folks love hot sauce), but they forgot the duck sauce—sleeping on us! Next time, I’m expecting some duck sauce in my bag, or there might be a humorous review coming your way.

So first incident they burnt my honey wings , i called them and the guy who took my complaint said next time i order from there ill get another thing of wings for free so i was like ok cool , gave him my number n name , a week later i ordered again from here got 2 dinners and was intending on getting my free wings , the lady that answered argued with me and said “no they no free just 10% off” i told her thats not what i was told n she kept arguing with me so i said forget it

Then 2 days ago i ordered 2 lunch combos from their online app , the pick up time i was given was 1:10pm , i drove to pick up my food and got there at 1:16pm , the doors were locked even though they had the open sign lit up , my boyfriend knocked on the door nobody answered , we sat outside for 10 min , i was calling n calling their phone nobody answered , an hour later they were calling me. Extremely unprofessional and went completely out my way

I will never buy from here again prefer panda express actually and i wouldn’t recommend this place...

The food does not taste like what the high star ratings say. I ordered the lunch shrimp lomein and received more rice than lomein on top of the rice not being the white rice I initially had ordered. The shrimp tasted old/not cooked completely because it still tasted like the sea. The chicken fingers are so small and skinny…I have never seen any chicken fingers made that way ever. The dumplings I would also suggest not to get. They messed up my order with the wrong rice and providing a chicken finger with an egg roll instead of 2 chicken fingers. The female taking orders did accommodate us by giving us a white rice that my bf had to go back for and he also had to bring back the egg roll that was put in there by mistake. (Idk if she thought we were lying) but it was brought back & we received the one missing chicken finger…..as seen in the photo below. This was definitely a disappointing experience and a...
