I ordered a large brown stew chicken and I've never been so disappointed! The chicken was black as if they use too much Browning and it was flavor less! The rice and peas was so fresh like they didn't add salt. I've never had such tasteless Jamaican food in my life. The service was fast and they were nice but I just can't justify such bland food. If there stew chicken was so bad I can't image eating any thing else from there. Stew chicken is a basic staple in Jamaican cuisine and they totally don't have there recipe right. Saw good reviews and got food to go. I heard her say $34 and asked for a receipt. She said , It' paperless, on ur email. On Island Fava menu it says a large Oxtail is 9.50. Where in Port St Lucie is it $20.00 for a large Oxtail? Definitely not at D &D or at Jerk City. (Where I should have gone to begin with.) It was mostly rice and very little meat.
