Doghouse — Local services in Portage

I've visited this place for craft shows and it's also my voting poll come election time since I live around the corner from it. It's what you would expect a school gym to look like, except its bigger than a gym. Its a huge space without air, but it gets a nice cross breeze with all the doors open. Haven't been there for actual sporting events as I don't have any kids in school yet. I have no complaints...

Great for basketball. Has a gym as well with a great assortment of equipment. The parking during basketball events can be terrible. Not their fault. They work with what they have. Just gotta be patient or get there early. People working the counter are decent and helpful. The refs were pretty good too for the youth...
