Harbor Freight — Local services in Porterville

I went in to purchase some lawnmower wheels got to the register and the Cashier Danial asked if I had rewards and I said no and that I didn’t want to sign up! I noticed he typed in a phone # for the rewards even though I said I wasn’t interested! I was going to pay for the wheels with my credit card but I felt uncomfortable after I saw he had typed in some other persons phone number in my transaction so I ended up using my last $20 in cash I had to put gas in my car to get home! After The cashier Danial handed me my receipt I noticed the rewards went to a Danial Willard and the cashiers name was Danial ! Looks like he’s scamming customers and the store! Well on my way home I ended up running out of gas because Danial Willard is being greedy and breaking store policy and basically steeling! Cashier Danial thanks I had to walk 10 miles home because you couldn’t do your job correctly! This place would have been a great store. However, if you are trying to return items prepare to be ripped off. When my son and I went to different harbor freight stores, we didn't realize we were both buying an air compressor. So after returning it they hit me with a 20 percent restocking fee for something that I just bought 3 HOURS BEFORE. We never opened the box as we decided to go with the other compressor. It just sat in the truck bed for 3 different trips to the store as they needed the purchaser's Id for a return. Even after confronting them on the restocking fee, they blamed it on corporate policy. However, on Harbor Freights website it says " The re-stocking fee will be waived if any of these conditions are met: item is unopened and in new condition." If you might need to return an item, then save your money and go to the local stores or even the big box...

I went in to return some items.I was treated with such disrespect.The cashier which (I regret not getting her name)was plastic and foney.She ,one other female employee,and the manager whos name was Roland were, whispering to eachother about me as if I were a regular thief that frequented thier store on a daily basis to steal.They were all dishonest,not giving me a straight answer which would have saved me and them atleast 30 minutes of the day.It was as if they were pleased with themselves and feeding off eachothers negativity.I will do all I can to avoid ever shopping at any harbor...
