Fei Long Spa — Local services in Portland

NOT recommended. I had an extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional experience here. I called ahead specifically to book with Sophia, as she came highly recommended in Google reviews, and was told that it would be fine.

First red flag: Upon arrival, they asked me to pay before the service, which I declined as that’s not standard practice in my experience.

Second red flag: After undressing for the massage, a male staff member entered the room. I immediately stated that I had requested a female therapist and asked for Sophia. He laughed and used a translation app to communicate, but even then, the language barrier made it difficult to feel safe or understood. Additionally, I noticed he had an unpleasant odor, which made me question the hygiene standards.

Third red flag: As I was repeatedly telling him I didn’t want to proceed, he left the room, mumbling under his breath, and began speaking loudly with someone else in the hallway. While I was hurriedly getting dressed, another woman opened the door WITHOUT knocking while I was still undressed and started yelling at me, saying “You want me?!” I declined and rushed to leave.

The whole experience felt chaotic and invasive, and I left feeling shaken. I genuinely hope no one else has to go...

I have been looking for a spa that would give me a great massage experience and I think I finally found the right place to go. Fei Long Spa was recommended to me by my friends who live in Portland and I decided to give it a try. I have to say that it totally exceeded my expectations. The massage therapists were friendly and approachable. They also modified my treatment based on my specific condition. They were gentle when I asked them to be but very thorough! I have a stiff back from working long hours and after an hour of treatment, my back felt totally rejuvenated. I felt like I was walking on a cloud after the treatment. The venue itself is cool and has very zen-like vibes. It totally transports you to Asia. I have travelled to places like Thailand and have had massages there, from foot reflexology to full body massages. The treatment I got at Fei Long Spa was equally as good, if not, even better. If you are looking for a great massage at a high quality spa, you should look no further. I had a really good experience and superb treatment...

Please never go here. There was one lady who did not speak English very well (which is fine) but she asked for me to pay first and took my card and inserted it into the machine. I asked how much the total was but she could not answer me and she kept pressuring me to sign before the massage. After approximately 5 minutes, my GF and I left and I cancelled the transaction only to learn that she still charged us for the service and it posted onto my credit card. Whilst we were leaving, I noticed her tinkering with the credit card reader and suspected that she charged us even while we were walking out even though we were only there for less than 5 minutes.

This establishment is a scammy establishment in an unsafe area so buyer please beware. I am going through with a full refund with my credit card's...
