The professors are not good at recording attendance, and I have to file grade appeals after each semester because they're also not good at keeping track of completed work and grades. The professors are usually very nice though, always willing to answer questions and be kind. Its uncommon to have an unkind professor here. They also lower your grades if you're not a lefty and the assignments have politics in them and you express views that lean right... that's Oregon though! I'm glad I'm a lefty. Keep in touch with your professors (especially near the end of the term!!) to make sure they give you all the grades you earned. They will gladly clarify these things with you.
