This was my favorite restaurant so I don't want to give them anything less than 3 stars. I sure hope the owner reads this and will have a talk with one of her employees because this has happened more than once to us. I don't know his name, but he's one of the servers. As far as I know, there's 2 guys there and it's not the guy with a dimple when he smiles.
The other guy several times in a row has made us feel unwelcome. Never smiles, when he talks to us it felt very flat and empty, like he's the one doing us a favor by serving us. There's definitely attitude involved, and I can say he behaves like this to most of the customers, not just us. Whenever he sits us, he never checks in to see if we need refills of our water or tea. He's so intimidating that we try not to ask for any service even though we'd like more refills of our tea.
Not everyone there gives off this unwelcoming vibe. The girls who are there (including the owner herself) are wonderful.
Speaking of the food, it's delicious and truly one of the best, but ideally we'd like to dine in a happy spirit vs hastily trying to slurp down our food and get the heck out of there because of the bad vibe from the poor service that one of the employee brings.
Don't let my review stop you from giving this place a try. If you are someone who is not too big on getting good service, you'll be fine and also you might be lucky with a better server. This review is just to draw the owner's attention if she...

We were pleasantly surprised about the restaurant.
Upon entering it's intriguingly inviting. Really enjoyed the entry where there is 3 Vespas under the signage. Pretty cool look of feel of the place.
The staff were quick to address us and to get us situated quickly. They were very nice, attentive when needed, and quite informative. Not snooty, and definitely not full of non-sensical attitude which has been my experience in many Portland eateries as of late. This was refreshing to see people who wants to actually provide great service.
Not sure if this is because of COVID, but there is no menu and there are only (3) items:
Bun Bo Hue, Beef Pho and Chicken Pho. Great thing about the Chicken Pho is that it's with chicken broth, as it should be. Not with beef or pork broth like so many other Pho restaurants.
We got one of each, and they were all very tasty. Great ingredients, great portion size, and I will say it again...very tasty. Definitely worth the try.
I honestly would have like to rate Tēo higher, but there's room for improvement. Would like to see if there will be a menu and if there are other items to try. Will have to come back and see.
If you are in the area, I would definitely suggest stopping in and trying it once and decide for...

Tried this restaurant for the first time, and I have to say, it’s hands down the best Bún Bò Huế I’ve had in Oregon! From the moment we walked in, it was a great experience. The restaurant is clean, the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the decor is charming without being over the top.
Service was attentive and thoughtful. The owner even noticed I had a baby with me and kindly offered hot water, such a sweet and considerate gesture! Although there was a mix-up with our order and a small error on the check, the staff handled it with kindness and professionalism, quickly resolving everything without hesitation.
Now onto the BBH and the chicken pho, the food is absolutely delicious! Flavorful broth, generous portion, and it came with a large plate of fresh vegetables, including dried banana blossom (my favorite!). You can really tell they care about the quality and authenticity of the dish.
Highly recommend this spot, a hidden gem and a must-try if you're...
