Wheelersburg Cinema — Local services in Portsmouth

My girlfriend and I went today to see Spiderman: Far From Home. We got the date night pack which was 25 dollars and some odd cents. Everything was good until the movie stopped working because their equipment stopped working. They offered refunds or you could get a free ticket for your next visit. We wanted our refund and were told they could only give us a refund on the tickets. Which you would think, their mess up we should get a full refund. But no, now I'm out half the money I spent to see a movie, that I only got to watch an hour of. If something like this happens again I would hope you give better options to the people who pay to watch something at your theater and possibly at least a sorry for your inconvenience instead of " we cant give a full refund." No sorry, no nothing. Thanks...

Just watched The Nun II. The women with red hair and always in PJs is very rude. If you don’t like having teenagers who are staying out of trouble be your customer then expect to lose a ton of customers. I am very disappointed with the service this establishment doesn’t deserve the money they get. Workers need to be more respectful and stop bad mouthing your customers. We are better behaved than you let on and this lady as seemed to have a personal vendetta against me and my friends since I first came there. I am from South Webster and I can for sure say that I will not longer go to this establishment unless this women quits and if she owns it then sells. This is the theater I grew up going to, and is actually the ONLY theater I ever saw a movie in until I was thirty. So there's some definite nostalgia. Facilities are clean. Staff is solid. Screens and sound systems are good, and prices are great! The last film I saw here was Jurassic world rebirth. Which has nothing to do with this review, but was exactly what I expected. I was like "I wanna see me some dinosaurs, and I only need enough plot to get me through to the next dinosaur!" And it delivered that. I loved the titanosaur scene.
