Subway — Restaurant in Portsmouth

I have been to this Subway three times for the past three Months. Each time I placed my order on the online order app. I always go to restaurants after the lunch rush hour is usually over to not get caught in a long line and have to wait. When I place my order at this Subway it usually takes about 15 minutes to get there after ordering.

Two times the Subs were ready but the last time they were not ready yet and they were getting the Subs made when I got inside. I looked pass this since they were busy and they did apologize for the wait which I find very professional. For the Subs I have ordered here they have always been very good. Soft fresh sub buns and the meat is always fresh also. We have ordered the Roast Beef, Roasted Turkey Sub with added Bacon and the Spicy Italian. Yes sometimes the wait seems long when people are making up their minds on what they want on the subs while the staff makes them but that's not the fault of the employees. As we all know a lot of restaurants are short staffed nowadays so thank them for sticking it out when they are working overtime to get the job done.

Update: On May 3rd ordered another Roast Beef and Roasted Turkey Subs on the Subway app at this Subway and was in and out within minutes of getting there ( between 1:00 and 2:00pm ). Subs and Sub Buns were soft and fresh and a friendly Staff. So if you have a hunger for a Sub this is the place to go. Just remember to be patient if you go here around Lunch time, Can be a little busy but that means they...

If you like getting an order that is incomplete, missing half the tuna, and served with a large side of attitude then by all means you’ve found the place. I am here on business so ordered express pickup for a quick run and go. The lady behind the counter had an attitude from the moment I walked up. She nastily informed me several times that I did not complete my order and she didn’t know what to give me. I almost always order through the app so I’m well aware of how this works and the items were indeed specified. I told her nicely, she threw one of the items in my bag then sat the bag down right in front of her and just looked at me. I picked up the bag and I asked nicely for a cup please to which she snapped and informed me I got a bottled soda. I grabbed my soda and chips and walked out. Unfortunately I failed to check what she put in the bag and didn’t realize she shorted my sides until I got back to the office. The sub was also missing most of the tuna. It was a thick layer of spinach and a couple smears of tuna. I order Subway almost exclusively while traveling bc it’s quick, friendly and fairly healthy. I have NEVER had an experience like this before. I swear there’s something in the water...

I called in and placed an order for a steak and cheese sub to go. When I got back to work, I was given a toasted sub that I didn't order. Not only that but the meat was cold and the sub was burnt. I contacted the Wheelersburg Subway and spoke with the manager to complain. She told me to bring the sandwich back to her store. I explained that I only had 30 for lunch and couldn't return the sandwich. Her suggestion was to hold on to it and bring it back in later. As a paying customer, I expect to receive the food in the condition I requested it. I am beyond disappointed with the service that I received and have decided to never purchase from this...
