Up North Distillery Liquor Store — Local services in Post Falls

Very "Unique" alcohol. This is listed as a Liquor Store, but in reality, it is a Distillery. Alcohol made from Honey, Apples and Pine Cones. Very, Very Close to "Back Woods" Whiskey. Staff was awesome, helpful and knowledgably. Don't know if he was an owner, but definitely took pride in the products he served and sold. If you want to try something unique and different, check this place out.

EDIT: Been a year later. Owner was downright rude and condencending. Will not be going back. To the owner: You apparently need some time away, or you were having a bad day. Either way, you lost some regular customers, and anyone else that I have the chance to talk to.

My kind of place....unexpected and delightful. Spotted this place on the way back to my sleazy, roadside motel....and decided I needed to check it out. This guy is making his own Whisky (several different models) and has an ad hoc bar out front. Has a nice selection of beers on tap, and you could end up with a few crusty locals to pass the evening with. The crowning touch is.
