It was my first visit to the store. When I pulled into the parking lot I noticed the store clerk washing the front windows. She greeted me with the biggest smile and held the door wide open. As soon as I stepped inside I was hooked on this shop 😆 So many choices! Blends, wools, hand dyed, acrylics, chunky and marbled are only a few varieties. You will also find some unique and vintage notions. Buttons! Very cool button sets. There's even a discount section. The Clerk was so personable, knowledgeable and resourceful 💗 She visited like We were already Friends and explained the yarns in detail. When a specific question was raised, She pulled out an IPad and opened a program to help with dimensions and visuals. What a difference that made to getting all the supplies needed for this project in 1 trip. Thank You for having such a wonderful shop so close to home. I will be back. I've been shopping at Amanda's for over a decade. And, today, after a years long hiatus from knitting, I stopped by for yarn to start a new project. Of course, Amanda had already knit it and had suggestions about the best types of yarn to use to get good results. She reassured me I could totally knit this thing! I was visibly overwhelmed by the color choices and she thoughtfully got me started with a palette I love! Amanda is both creative and caring; helping new knitter's get started, and every visit something knew she's excited about in the store....

First time visiting the store and I can say is wow... What a wonderful delight... My husband came in with me and we were greeted with smiles, well knowledgeable friendly staff... We laughed and chatted away .. We would recommend this store and will..to everyone looking for every type of yarn you can think of along with staff that know their business... They were so helpful.. I have visited the other yarn stores in Poulsbo and was not met with such enthusiasm or help.... They have a much wider type of yarn as well.... Thank...
