The volunteers & staff are amazing. For years I used to donate dozens of eggs and extra produce from my gardens, but I never needed their services or even went inside. Then my life took a path that caused me to require any support I could for my family. Hesitantly I applied for food assistance with them. I was shocked to see the amazing assortment and selection of foods available lots of fruits and veggies, canned food, frozen food, milk, eggs, toiletries etc. They were constantly refilling the shelves quicker than people could shop. My daughter rather go here than the grocery store LOL. The dental clinic upstairs was surprisingly well equipped with friendly and helpful staff. The reception area is full of knowledge and resources. They are there to help and they do a great job at it. They offer quite a bit including financial assistance, snap, housing, veterans services etc. Just ask your question and they will help set you up with an appointment. Usually within a day or 2 you'll be seen. The first time I came looking for help I did not know what to expect, so I set my standards really low. Much to my surprise, my expectations were proven wrong. The staff were patient, understanding, knowledgeable and really seem to care about you & your needs. I've never needed or asked for help before but sometimes you have to swallow your pride and they made it easier to do. Due to their compassion and willingness to help their community they have a loyal volunteer base that sometimes I think is almost a little too excessive. I love this food bank, everyone is so friendly and I love that you are able to walk around and grab what you need without a chaperone. I have social anxiety, so being able to walk around alone let's me grab things my family will actually eat and not feel pressured to take things we don't. There is always plenty to choose from, and I've never felt anything other than kindness and care from the volunteers. ❤️ plus, we get to come here for full shops once a week, which is perfect!

My ONLY complaint is the parking lot. It's on a slight incline, and I've always had an issue with the carts trying to get away from me when putting my food in the car. Today as I was putting my last bag in the car, the cart rolled away and I had to drop the bag and run for the cart to avoid it hitting another car. This caused me to have to chase some produce down the hill that rolled away.. putting wheel locks on the carts would...

Things have sure gone downhill since the big staffing change. Everyone who shows up for food (who isn't flamboyant) is treated with disdain and mistrust. We have to wait outside when the inside is technically open. Gotta use the bathroom? Nope, not allowed. Wanna start making the line early because showing up when they open almost guarantees no parking? Nope, they'll chase you off the property. If there's unclaimed bags of food outside and you grab one, you will be accused of theivery and the red-headed woman will threaten to ban you with all the authority that a self-righteous phony can muster. If the crowd is too big for their comfort (you know, the crowd they're there to feed???) they've been known to call the police with a made-up emergency.
