I’ve been trying to get back into running because I’m joining the Air Force and there are so many shoes out right now that I don’t know if I need like a stability shoe or the other kind . I currently am wearing Nikes, but they are more fashion shoes and not really good. Running shoes. I walked in there I knew exactly the questions to ask . This fine gentleman asked me if I’m looking for anything in particular. I tell him that I’m new and then I really need help finding a running shoe. He got straight to the questions quick easy simple! Asked how long I would be running for I said, barely 2 miles telling him that I feel a lot of the pressure in my knees from my other shoes and that like my back hurt sometimes. He asked me what size I usually am looked at how I stand up without shoes on this guy is a god because he found the most perfect shoes for me. It was like Cinderella and the glass slipper, obviously way more comfortable. He actually found me a pair that was on sale for only $115 which I was ready to spend like 175 $200 since I’ve already been aware of the prices in the running world. I was in and out and maybe five minutes. Perfect shoes told him when I really was trying to get out of these shoes was fitted instantly and taken care of. As an inexperienced runner with a worn out pair of shoes, I came in, in search of advice and a new pair of shoes. The owner chatted for a minute about my needs before bring out several pairs of shoes, and encouraging me to go out for run around the building, despite steady rain and the accompanying wear on the shoes I was trying. The second or third pair was a great fit, and turned out to be on sale and well within my budget. A few weeks on now, the shoes feel great, I'm running further, and I have zero knee/hamstring pain! I have a hard time finding good fitting shoes, my feet are wide with low arches. I told the guy working my issues and he brought out a couple pairs to try. The first pair were wide enough but the arch seemed too high, but the second pair fit wonderfully. I’ve been running in them 5+ days a week for a few weeks now and haven’t had a single problem with my plantar fascia which is what was happening before. No need to play shoe roulette here, he looked at my feet and listened to my problems and knew what would work. In and out in 10 minutes, very happy...
