Outstanding food! Honestly one of the best meals out I’ve had in recent memory. Our family stopped by for a late night dinner and was greeted by the chef (owner?) who was very happy to go over the menu with us explaining which dishes he thought we might like and describing what made each one different. We settled on enough to feed a small army with three different preparations of chicken; butter, curry, and tandoori. Of course we had to try naan bread too, and a samosa order was added in to keep the everyone happy while the main dishes were prepared and we enjoyed a delicious and refreshing mango laasi. Starting with the samosa, everything tasted amazing, and the butter chicken in particular was the best I’ve ever had. The first place one would think of to find excellent Indian food at isn’t at a gas station in Poulsbo, but the dishes coming out of the kitchen at Namaste all but demand that you reconsider. There’s no high-class dining room, live music, or anything else to draw your attention. The main, if not only, attraction here is the food, and it more than holds its own. We’ll definitely be back, and probably...
Read moreIf you're craving a Dhaba-style experience where there's a lot happening in the background, this is the place to be. They specialize in North Indian cuisine, and the head chef, a Tamil with over a decade of experience, brings an authentic touch to the dishes. The management team hails from various parts of India, ensuring a rich cultural blend. The staff is courteous, polite, and delightful to interact with.
The prices here are among the most reasonable I've seen in Washington, especially considering the high quality and generous portions of the food. We ordered butter chicken, phul makhana sabzi, butter naan, and garlic naan. We were also treated to complimentary mango lassi and kheer for everyone in the restaurant. If you enjoy spicy food, be sure to ask for it to be Indian level spicy.
This restaurant is definitely worth not just a visit but a revisit.
PS: Currently hosted within the Food Mart since its inception 3 months ago, the restaurant plans to open fully in the...
Read moreIf you're searching for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Namaste Poulsbo! This gem of a restaurant serves the most incredible Indian cuisine I have ever tasted. We feasted on the butter chicken and lamb curry, both of which were absolutely to die for – rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
The naan bread was a highlight as well; fresh and perfectly made, it complemented every dish. We also tried a selection of vegetarian appetizers, which were fantastic in both taste and presentation. And don’t skip dessert – they were a delightful way to end our meal.
Adding to the experience was the quick and super friendly service. The staff truly made us feel welcome. With an impressive array of choices on the menu and exciting new options being added, Namaste Poulsbo is a must-try for any Indian food lover. Plus, the pricing is very reasonable given the quality of food.
Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Namaste Poulsbo! You'll leave satisfied and...
