Outstanding food! Honestly one of the best meals out I’ve had in recent memory. Our family stopped by for a late night dinner and was greeted by the chef (owner?) who was very happy to go over the menu with us explaining which dishes he thought we might like and describing what made each one different. We settled on enough to feed a small army with three different preparations of chicken; butter, curry, and tandoori. Of course we had to try naan bread too, and a samosa order was added in to keep the everyone happy while the main dishes were prepared and we enjoyed a delicious and refreshing mango laasi. Starting with the samosa, everything tasted amazing, and the butter chicken in particular was the best I’ve ever had. The first place one would think of to find excellent Indian food at isn’t at a gas station in Poulsbo, but the dishes coming out of the kitchen at Namaste all but demand that you reconsider. The management team hails from various parts of India, ensuring a rich cultural blend. The staff is courteous, polite, and delightful to interact with.

The prices here are among the most reasonable I've seen in Washington, especially considering the high quality and generous portions of the food. We ordered butter chicken, phul makhana sabzi, butter naan, and garlic naan. We were also treated to complimentary mango lassi and kheer for everyone in the restaurant. If you enjoy spicy food, be sure to ask for it to be Indian level spicy.

We feasted on the butter chicken and lamb curry, both of which were absolutely to die for – rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
