Recently I called Pro Sports about having a Chevron sewn on the EXPENSIVE Letter jacket I ordered and received from Pro sports last year. I was told by the gentlemen who answered my inquiry that he did not know how the Chevrons were supposed to be sewn on, but when I found out, I could bring the jacket in and have the Chevron sewn on at a cost of $4 plus tax. I researched through the Hillgrove High School Band, where the Chevron was to be placed on the letter jacket and went in to Pro Sports with the jacket and Chevron in hand. I told Allison at Pro sports that the Chevron was to be affixed to the left sleeve of the jacket as you were wearing it, points down. To be clear, I not only showed her the proper sleeve on the jacket and proper directional affixation, but also, I told her that the Chevron went on the same side of the jacket as the letter (Band letter H) so there could be NO misunderstanding. I was told the jacket would be ready in 2 weeks. Today I got a call from Allison advising that the Chevron had been sewn on the WRONG sleeve. She ADMITTED freely that this error was made by Pro Sports despite my explicit directions given to her in the shop regarding where the Chevron was to be placed. As she came on and on the line (because she was also speaking to other customers in the shop about items unrelated to my issue), she told me that my options were (1) to have the Chevron moved to the correct sleeve that I had requested the Chevron be placed on, noting however that there would be holes in the leather where the improperly placed chevron had to be removed; or (2) accept the jacket with the Chevron sewn in the incorrect position and not be charged the $4 settling for my jacket to be unlike everyone else's and not uniform appropriate. We paid over $400 to Pro Sports for this special order jacket which has now been ruined by Pro Sports failure to follow the explicit directions they asked for. Their flippant attitude about the mistake and suggested resolutions are UNACCEPTABLE. Your letter jacket is a special keepsake to commemorate your high school years and one that you would not pay $400 to have holes in. Be sure you entrust your business to an organization that is going to take the time to listen to you, and that is going to take the special care that a business should when handling such an important keepsake. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Pro Sports and will not use them for ordering a letter jacket for my...
Read moreRead the other reviews. Our team had a special order and I'm not sure why they chose this company. Poor product quality, wrong descriptions on website, and no refunds because the products are "custom". Well, if your product is advertised incorrectly on the website, and it's completely different than what I originally ordered (also noting that the original color I ordered was also out of stock), you should refund due to inaccurate description. No, they won't do that. Do not give this company your business. Their products are expensive and there is no recourse or customer service if you are not happy with the products after spending your money. Also: when they advertise a hoodie, it's not what you think when you hear the word hoodie. On their website it says this "warm, sweatshirt"......it's NOT a sweatshirt. It's a thin moisture wicking shirt. NOT a sweatshirt. Poor customer...
Read moreHad a terrible experience here ordering for my team. Started out super helpful, but as soon as Bart had the money it was all downhill.
The samples I’d been sold were not available, the replacement didn’t cover the size ranges. And the delay meant attending our first event without jackets. Furthermore, the bags we ordered were replaced without our consent with a cheaper version. I had a team of disappointed students and parents, all asking what they payed so much for! They’re scamming customers with older designs for a few extra bucks. Add to that the hassle of even getting my order—two weeks late already— they promise to leave it outside their shop, is it there?! No! What did I drive over here for? Disorganized, can’t imagine how they’re still in business. Subpar screen...
