Fish Chick — Restaurant in Powder Springs

Words cannot explain how good this food is. But I’m gone try to put it in words today lol! I went in there after work b/c I was craving fish. Everything inside is so nice and clean. The owner is super personable and makes sure that everything is cooked fresh and certain things cooked to your preference. The food and in-house juices were SOOOO good I had to double back the very next day. I realized they sold wings and my thoughts exactly were “if the fish is this good, what them wings talkin bout” lol. I got the FishChick wing platter and had to see if i was tripping. As seen in the pic/screenshot provided, I realized I had a coworker driving in front of me after I picked up my food (and started eating in the car lol) and I HAD TO SHARE! Yall we are in TRAFFIC, and I get out my car to share a wing. Now you see what their response was after eating a few wings and fries. I just had to make sure it wasn’t just me. Oh and let’s talk about how amazing that potato salad is! Tastes like Aunty at the family reunion back there and EVERYONE knows she’s the designated potato salad maker so there is NO need to ask who made the potato salad. Lol if you know, you know. Go try this place TODAY!!! I’m trying to put yall on a hidden gym that’s literally ducked off in the cut. It’s not a hole in the wall place. It’s way too nice and delicious to be called that. I told the owner ima try and not come in here everyday but she so close to where I work that’s going to be hard. This is my new addiction. Y’all help me by making the line longer here and MAYBE I will calm down. To the owner I just thought about an idea, maybe having an option to have a fish and wings platter. Omg!!!! Lawd I’m going tomorrow...

So I decided to give this new fish spot a try near my house, let’s say pulling up I noticed the sign, love the logo (artwork), as I entered it’s extremely cute, welcoming, vibrant atmosphere. Which matches the owner’s personality. The customer service was excellent and they didn’t mind giving suggestions. So I decided to try their 3 fish tacos, Cajun okra, & hush puppies. Babyyyyyyyyyyyy let me just say I started with the okra which were crispy how I like them and seasoned perfectly (not to much or less, just perfect), then did the hush puppies and those didn’t disappoint either. You know sometimes u get some and they’re hard or to mushy, Gooood they were. Now the main dish, those 3 fish tacos with the aioli and mango salsa was a perfect combination. I mean the flavors, seasoning, crispy fish, crispy cabbage was an amazing Burst of flavor that blended so well. ITS DEFINITELY A MUST TRY!!!! I will attach pictures I took. I definitely say give them a try.

I will be coming back, actually I went back and bout my family plates for dinner that’s how good it was. I’ll come back and give a review on something else next time. hopefully this helped you guys decide to give...

After a 50-mile Silver Comet bike ride, I decided to treat myself with some fried fish instead of grabbing the smoothie I had planned and I’m glad I did! I found Fish Chick after reading the great reviews and it definitely lived up to the hype.

From the moment I walked in, everything was clean and neat. I was greeted by Carmen, who was super nice, friendly, easy to talk to and turns out she can really cook too! I ordered the swai nuggets and Cajun fried okra, both were on point. The fish was seasoned perfectly, the okra had the right crunch, and even the Mango juice was pretty good also.
