Soda Jerk — Local services in Prattville

This place was ok it wasn’t what I thought it would be. I’m a huge 50s/60s girl and I thought this would be like an old fashion soda shop. The lady working was friendly but not overly helpful with what they had on the menu. There was also no pricing anywhere so you don’t know what you are getting charged for anything. The menu is spread out all over the front of the store and hard to see it all. We told her we were looking for ice cream for my son and husband and she told us the flavors and cup or cone. After we sat down we saw under the counter they had floats and sundaes. Really wish she had told us because the ice cream is soft serve McDonald style nothing special. As for the sodas they are not old fashion style. They are basically flavored drinks. They use regular soda and mix syrups and creams with them. My other son and I both got one. We drank them because we paid so much for them but they were not as good they advertise. We paid $18 for two small sodas and a large soft serve cone and a small cup of soft serve. Way over priced. Also atmosphere would be better if they had music playing and had seating that was more kid friendly. It was a stop we will definitely skip if we come back...

This place is so cute! The staff is always kind, patient and welcoming! It reminds you of an old school diner, yet they offer endless options for you to make your perfect drink. The owner is sweet, and has done a great job of making this establishment family friendly.

There's a sweet lady that works there who's dresses as different characters and brings a uniqueness to the store.

Did I mention the drinks are AMAZING, as well as the Cajun boiled peanuts and the soft served ice cream.

I truly appreciate this sweet little shoppe in downtown Prattville. It’s a terrific little stop before enjoying a downtown stroll, and my daughter and I frequently enjoy their root beer floater. I especially appreciate the kindness and hospitality of the owner, and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Emma.
