Horrible White Glove Service – Disappointed Beyond Words
I purchased two pieces from 1-Stop Bedrooms, opting for their "White Glove Service," expecting a seamless and professional experience. Unfortunately, the delivery fell far short of expectations.
First, the delivery team failed to arrive on time for either item, which was frustrating enough. But the real issue was the poor assembly job. My table wobbles because they didn’t secure it properly, and worse, they neglected to install all the screws in the legs of the chairs. When I sat down, one of the chairs nearly broke—a safety hazard that could have been avoided with proper assembly.
To make matters worse, when I reached out to 1-Stop Bedrooms to report the issue, they refused to take any accountability. They claimed there was a 24-hour window to file a complaint, but I had been traveling and didn’t realize the poor assembly until I returned. Despite explaining the situation, they denied any form of compensation for the White Glove Service and refused to send a team to resolve the issue.
I was forced to purchase the missing parts, disassemble the table and reassemble, the same for the chairs.
The service was careless, unprofessional, and unsafe, and the company’s complete lack of responsibility or willingness to make things right is unacceptable. This time it took them over 2 weeks to arrive. 3 of the pieces arrived broken again. Bed could still not be assembled and my daughter continued sleeping on the floor. Had another conversation with customer service and requested cancelation. The customer service agent ignored the request and said she would resend the pieces again, but couldn't rush the order. Two weeks later the pieces hadn't arrived yet. I contacted customer service again with another request to cancel. I had already order an new bed from another store. I was told that they would send me the pieces again and that they have not been shipped. At this point it has been approx 2 months after my original order. The non broken replacement pieces never arrived and no one has canceled the order. I submitted a claim to cancel the order through the bank and this scam of a store claimed that they had sent it. Read moreCan you give Negative Stars??? One Stop Bedrooms is absolutely horrible. It was a terrible experience from the beginning. If I know what I know now I would have cancelled my order and gotten my money back. First they kept giving me wrong and inaccurate information about my delivery and timing. Their website isn’t even close to being accurate and when you contact their customer disservice you either get no answer or wrong information.
Once my furniture was actually delivered it had the wrong chairs. When I contacted them they refused to even listen and said that was what ordered even though I placed the order on the phone and confirmed it. The didn’t care at all and the other customer disservice rep wasn’t even interested in trying to help. They get your money and it’s screw you! Since they are in New York I have no recourse but accept a dining set I didn’t want and am out over $3,000. DON’T make the same mistake I did. Go to a reputable dealer not crooks like One Stop.
