I brought my 10 year old daughter to get her hair detangled it was matted. About 20mins before the appointment at 1 pm I arrive . I was told to stomp our feet on the mat before moving to the back to hang up our coats . She shooed her hand at me I thought that was rude . But I let it go and continued to get ready for my daughter appointment long story short my daughter was under the hair dryer on heat for 2 hours i walked over and took the dryer off her head . I understand she was doing another client hair in between her hair but she didn’t have to have her under the dryer for 2 hours . Then when it was her turn she started and my daughter was in so much pain she came and asked to leave . She left with leave in conditioner and other product in her hair. Her head scalp is still hot now . We was there for 4 hours and her hair not even half way detangled. While I was there the owner asked my husband to leave because she said because of covid. It there was a chair to sit in and she said he can’t sit there because it’s a dryer chair when other people waiting for other people were sitting in dryer chairs . She also was flirting with under age boys. I don’t recommend this place . Only thing I respect is she didn’t charge me for the service because I mean really the hair was bad . To specialize in locs you should be able to also detangled hair that is matted . I felt like dust under her foot like she didn’t need us as customers. She gossips about people also . I really wanted to like this place because it’s hard to find someone during this time but this is what I’m left with . She also offered water while we were there and after a few hours told me my husband can come back to the salon but he didn’t want to come back . She asked me was he my son. He is older then me . I felt insulted ....

I urgently sought out professional assistance for my FAKE locs, willing to pay any price for a quality result. The stylist who retwisted my locs, although unnamed, was pleasant. However, the overall experience was marred by negative energy. I have had difficulties in the past finding stylists who can properly care for my hair, even when I am paying for their services. Unfortunately, my 8 extensions still not placed correctly, with one large loc standing out prominently on the top of my head. Due to time constraints, I did not notice this until later. While I initially hesitated to leave a negative review, I have decided that I will not return to this establishment in the future. Despite this, I would consider booking with the stylist who retwisted on my locs. In total, I spent $360. I paid $60 to fix the missing loc extensions, which included purchasing two packs of hair and allowing the stylist (Sandra) to keep one fresh pack. Additionally, I paid $160 for the eight missing extensions, and $140 for the retwist and...

I highly recommend Sandra!!! During the initial consultation Sandra conducted a thorough hair evaluation, provided me with education about my hair and gave me her professional recommendation about next steps. She was extremely patient and she answered all of my questions. It is obvious that natural hair is her calling! Professionalism and the overall energy of the space is important and the salon surpassed my expectations!!! Upon arrival one will discover that the atmosphere is very positive, warm and and welcoming. It is obvious that attention to small details are a must in the salon (ie: the music selection, the relaxing hair wash, customer service).
