Target — Local services in Provo

After my experience in this Target today, I will never shop in any Target ever again. Not only that, but it is now my personal aim to deter as many shoppers from patronizing Target Stores as I can conceivably deter. Why the outrage? It's very simple. If the unisex bathrooms and the unisex changing rooms and the non-gender specific toy sections weren't enough to prevent you from entering a Target before now, there is one reason that should prevent ALL decent people from wanting to enter such a store. In fact, it is reason enough to chase Target from your town or even your state.

What's the big issue? In their board game section, not far from games like Apples to Apples and Blokus, Target sells a games called, "Cards Against Humanity." It's advertised as, "A card game for terrible people." Terrible doesn't cut it you psychopaths. On display, for any and all to see, for anybody who might, I don't know, stroll down the game aisle wanting to buy a game, is the cover to this affront to humanity they call a game. Depicted on one of the card sets that goes to the game is a caveman looking figure eating a baby. That's right. Walk down the aisle with your 3 year old, and they see an adult man cannibalizing a baby. I know, you don't believe me. I've attached an image of the game's cover.

Do you think I still sound like a crazy person? Let me ask you this: Who's crazy, the guy who doesn't want a store in his community which sells and displays grotesque, obscene filth, or the store which portrays moms and their newborn babies on one side of the store and savage depictions of men devouring those babies on the other side of the store?

Are you going to keep shopping there?

P.S. They wouldn't let me leave...

Imagine you just moved in to a college apartment. You’ve spent the whole day sweating while unpacking. You order a fan from target get to target and pick up that fan. You eventually make it home and need to set up a couple more things before you can look forward to the cool breeze. You finally get it all set up and it doesn’t work. You panic thinking “how can I spend another night in this heat??” You check Google maps and it says target will be closed in eight minutes and it’s a six minute drive from your apartment. You frantically race out your front door and don’t even have time to turn off the car when you park and run into the store at 9:58. You apologize profusely and expect to be greeted with some annoyance as you once were a retail worker. However, the woman in the red shirt smiles, and welcomes you and is quite possibly the most friendliest person you’ve ever met. You go to the exchange counter and you get it done and rush out the door right as the clock strikes 10. I have never met such happy positive target employees! Thank you for saving me and providing that...

Giving a bad review because I set up a baby registry with them. I went through the store and scanned items on my phone. First of all, it took forever to set up a registry. The service in the store is awful, it wouldn’t load. I would scan items I wanted on my registry, and some stuff wouldn’t even scan. They would have 3 barcodes, I would try scanning all of them and it would always say “item can’t be found”. It was so frustrating. They also give you a free welcome kit with baby samples if you start a registry. I have now been to 3 different target locations and all of them are freaking out of the welcome kits. They are even out online but I wouldn’t want it online because you have to pay shipping. They should keep those fully stocked for new moms who register with them and want to sample different baby products. I am thinking about deleting my registry. I am so fed up with target. I don’t recommend anyone...
