Mr. Fred Elliot, arrived at his Saturday appointment on time . He was personable and friendly, but professional. Almost immediately I knew I was in for an interesting and entertaining meeting. He has been in the antiques business for many many years and is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. As a history buff, I was fascinated with the stories he shared as he explained the ins and outs of selling and buying. He did not rush, was happy to explain and answer questions. Fred is passionate about his “work” . The dreaded day for selling one my treasures turned out to be a joy. We would like to share our opinion of Fred Elliott and New England Antiques. Approximately twenty years ago we met as neighbors and immediately started a business relationship. Since moving here from Maryland we have always bought and sold antiques as we had done up north. When ever any opinion was needed we called on New England Antiques because of Fred overwhelming knowledge of the business. Dealing with a recent death in the family Fred and his wife Nancy worked with our schedule and came to the property and spent the time explaining everything to us. They broke down current market valuation of items and identified items that would work for them and were very fair in pricing. Further, left us with more knowledge on items they did not take off our hands along with approximate valuation and optional means to sell.

They are very knowledgeable and a joy to be around both in a professional aspect as well as personally. Nancy took the time to sit with my wife just to talk and get to know her and Fred did the same with me and shared many personal experiences.
