Driving toward this waffle House I almost missed it did not match my internal picture of the traditional yellow waffle House in the middle of a Walmart parking lot near a highway exit entrance. This waffle House is one of the cleanest and best looking waffle houses I have ever been to. Everything is bright and shiny including the staff, which operates as a well-oiled machine. My server, Elizabeth grace, was a bright spot in my day and made all the difference in how mentally prepared and refreshed I was to take on the day's tasks. Each of the staff was friendly and engaging, there is a literal college philosophy professor on staff. And let's just say as an aside that it is a commentary on the dystopian nature of our society in this current ERA that a philosophy professor can make more at waffle House and he can teaching minds how to sync critically and logically about moral in ethical issues. Once you've let that dystopia wash over you you will enjoy the eggs and grits and toast which are prepared as good or better than any waffle House I have been to in the United states.
Rock on Elizabeth Grace. When you have read the holy book of hindu, you have reached understanding of what is but one path into the Divine and all of us, and the ways that higher power wants to use us to bring each other into closer connection with ourselves with each other and...
Read moreFood was amazing. I had previously come here and had the same waitress. She was an elderly woman and to be honest was a little sour. No fault to her, I get it, not everyday is sunshine and smiles. She got our food speedy and that’s all that matters. Upon paying the bill I handed her the sum and enough for a tip. She did not ask if I wanted change back or even a receipt . My intention was to leave her the extra amount, but I still wanted a receipt so I stood waiting for her to finish counting. She then handed me the change, and as an anxious teen I was too shy to give it back so I left. I’ll admit, that was pretty dumb.
I just went back to eat here again and got the same waitress. Before even greeting us or handing the menu, she gives me and my cousin a little speech. “Is there a particular reason you didn’t leave a tip last time?” “Did you not enjoy my service?”. I could understand if she was genuinely curious as to why we didn’t tip, but she was confronting us in a rude way. I did tip this time, but I shouldn’t feel pressured to leave a tip. Waffle house should pay their...
Read moreLong time WH customer i ordered a chicken sandwich with cheese plate hash browns sweet tea. So the toppings on the side. I get it with sauteed onions On my chicken sandwich. I said sweety I have fried onions on my sandwich I didn't want that. She said you didn't say you didn't want them? Like she knew she was wrong. I thought she would take it back and fix it instead I left with it like that. I have never been treated that way. I grew up going to the one on Jones loop Rd. But where I live now I thought awesome theirs one closer. But No if you have her/him as a server it won't be nice, correct, understanding or doing the right thing when she's gotten an order incorrect. That's her job she should have made it right instead of saying that I should have specified that I didn't want sauteed onions?? I've never heard of that?? You only say that when you do order that I've never ordered that. Always for years the same plate. Instead she's taking my money instead of my meal back to fix it smh Really unsatisfied and...
