I recently lost my father and had to get into a storage locker that we had no key to. I came into this location and bought a open box Hercules battery grinder and was told everything was there it was just a display. Upon getting home I realized that the tool for tightening the blade was not there and the shield was not there. I called and explained my situation, and was told I could come in and purchase the tool (which was supposedly included) to tighten the blade. I said the person who sold It to me said everything was there. So they put me on with the "manager". Read moreI always remember going into the store and upon checkout the cashier would grab an ad and give me the 20% off coupon almost every time! That is not the case anymore, they do not offer a percentage off anymore like they used to. At least not for your everyday regular shopper. You have to be part of their club in order to receive any type of discount (it is a paid subscription though). Although prices have gone up like everyone elses. Their prices are comparable to the competitions. just not sure how well they hold up in the long-run. If your looking for a specific tool that you will only use once or very rarely, you can't really beat their prices. If you are looking for quality tools though, I wouldn't recommend buying from here. That is just my opinion as I have met some Maintenance Techs that have purchased their tools here relying on the warranty/guarantee they were given with the tools upon purchase. With that being said, and if you're looking for tools, it might be worth the effort to look into their warranty/guarantee. I personally don't know what it is as I have only purchased Craftsman and tools...
