One Zero Four Salon — Local services in Quincy

Disappointed is not even enough to describe my experience here. I booked with Marie because I liked her work and in all honesty all the girls have beautiful hair so I had high hopes. The salon is in a great part of Quincy & it’s a gorgeous salon but that’s all the positive words I have to say. Marie was beyond cold and dismissive and I did not feel welcomed or appreciated as a client. She seemed annoyed and bothered the whole time, and did a horrible job on my blowout. I specifically told her it was for graduation and even before leaving the salon, the curls fell. I will say, it was raining horribly that day so I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but after looking at my bank statement and seeing how much I spent for such horrible work is disheartening. Scheduled a Bridal trial. Confirmed my appointment. Arrived early and was immediately handed a contract - which I thought was odd seeing how the trial wasn’t even completed yet. Was then approached and told I would need to wait another 45+ minutes for trial because her previous client arrived late (no courtesy call was made). I noticed that the prices on the contract had odd hand written up charges. I told her I was not able to wait (I took time off of work to come here - it was 3PM on a Tuesday..) and that I’m confused about the inflated prices. She said nothing back, grabbed my robe and ran in a back room. I was left walking around trying to find my coat that they checked lol. I’ve loved all of my experiences at 104 - I’ve been seeing Britt for years and was so happy when they opened their salon in Quincy. The salon is gorgeous and has a great location with easy street or garage parking. Britt is a master of blonde coloring and it’s always a treat when I have an appointment. I also worked with her for my wedding and my updo (and all my bridesmaids and my mom’s hair styles) held perfectly throughout the day.
